Amendenyer buat, blog tak hupdate lamer nih??
Wowee...I have to stop making entries like this...lama betul tak tulis..Whether you miss me or not..tatau lah akak...tapi I sure miss this blog of mine..perasaan dah...
I've been away peeps. Two days after my last entry, I was flying off to Cannes in the south of France for work. The night flight at 10.45pm from KLIA was delayed till about 12.20am before it took off. The 12 hours flight took us all the way to Fiumicino Airport in Rome. All the while in the flights tak bley nak tidor. Ni lah dia travel economy...kaki panjang tak muat..I was talking to this woman, from Rome, who was travelling from Sydney. She has been flying for almost 24 hours, lagi haru ...Bila dah sampai kat Rome, si fomfuan itiew dengan seronoknyer memeluk and cium akak macam dah 10 tahun kenal before she said goodbye..Hish omputih nih kalau dah berbual satu malam dah macam mak dia lah dibuatnye aku nih...
At Rome airport, my colleagues yang kaki shopping sempat berGucci dan berFurla..Sakan!! Cheaper than back home..Orang kata when in Rome, do as the Romans do lah katakan..Tak hengat dunia semenyer...We had about 2 hours before boarding Alitalia which flew us to Nice. It was a forty five mins flights macam JB g KL lah kan...
Now we reached Nice which is in the southern of France.Memang ramai tourists. Yang orang dok kata French Riviera or Cote d'Azur ni lah dia. Pas kitaorang sampai kat Nice naiklah cab to get to Cannes. Naik cab 90 euro, engkau!! Tak ke 4 ratus lebih duit mesia katanya... Cannes is about 35km from Nice, btw.
Sampai kat Albe Hotel in Cannes kami pun berkampunglah for 7 days. From Monday to Friday the whole week me and my colleagues were busy attending meetings after meetings. Lunch pun meetings, dinner pun meetings. Akak makan banyak kengkawan!!! Matilah diet mek!! Exercise pun tak sempat..But Cannes have some of the best food. The 7 days i was there, I had the best seafood from oyster to lobster, to salmon, amende yang berkerang bagai seme akak makan...abis tu nak makan daging cuak...tapi ada one night to a supplier brought us to this Lebanese restaurant on the 5th night, barulah akak makan hayam...ish, ish sungguh haru rupanya masing2.
Ah...how I miss walking along Rue d'Antibes . This long street runs the length of Cannes. Kedai-kedai Longchamp, Louis Vuitton, you name it they have it. Akak window shopping sakan. Lucky I'm not much of a sucker for branded overpriced stuff. Kalau tak matilah credit card mek!!!! Boulevard de la Croisettes is where most of the luxury hotels are. We had the luxury of having meals at the best places courtesy of all the generous suppliers.
All I can say is Cannes is where beautiful people are...Cantik2, hemsem2...drebar teksi pun macam Hollywood actors, engkau...Cleaners kat public toilet pun cunnn macam model. And lots of dogs...of all sizes...the people in Cannes love their dogs..You can't walk without bumping into them. Ye lah dalam Galleries Lafayette bershopping pun bawak hanjeng...Mak fenin!!!
