Raya stories
First day of Hari Raya, we were in my sis in law's place beraya with hubby's family.
After Segambut, we drove to Tapah to visit hubby's grandma and also his aunt. By the time we reached home it was almost 9pm. After freshening up, we went for dinner at Kayu in Dataran Prima before we got ready for the journey back to JB the next day.
\After the scrumptious raya meal and lot of photo sessions, we drove to my late husband's grandma's place in Segambut.

And this is how they sleep in Tok Mak's house....hehehe..
For the 6 days that we were there, we managed to squeezed in visits to older relatives, my aunt, cousins besides melayan melayan visitors yang datang rumah Mak. As usual memang ramai and almost non-stop sampai late night pun ada..The saddest thing about Raya was that my Mak was not well sampai ke tahap yang tak boleh nak jalan on the 2nd day that we were there. Kesian betul...Her ostheoarthitis has gotten to the best of her. On my second last day there I brought her to the hospital and the doctor said there's nothing much they can do unless she wants to go for knee replacement surgery, which was what she has been avoiding all along. On the last day, bawak pergi cardiologist pulak to check on the heart condition. I got the doctor to write her a referral letter for the orthopedic. Finally! Her legs are going to be seen. To think that I waited this long to do that...All the while accepting that nothing much can be done about her knees. Brought her for x-rays. Memang lutut dah hancur...haus... Kesian...I saw how she suffered, the last two nights I teman dia tidur. Nak pergi toilet pun kena jalan with the support of a plastic stool. Sedih yang amat sangat to see how she suffers...My sisters are going to take her for her orthopedic's check up as oon as possible next week, insyallah. I left JB with a heavy heart...
