I was in Bandung 2 weeks back for work..well, part work part leisure...like the indonesian say...kerja sambil libur..This was not my first time in there and I sort of know what to expect. About almost 20 of us from the office including the biggie boss, coming along with us were some editors and journalists from some major publications...


Pepagi Jemahat yang indah hubby sent me to the office to take the office transport to LCCT. Matilah sebelum Suboh dah keluar rumah... We have been preparing this trip for the last few weeks, preparing the presentation slides and not forgetting practicing some dance routine to be presented to our guests. Matilah...dah lama tak menjengket...tetiba kena menari bagai. But everyone's such sport..Ye ler kalau biggie boss pun mencucuk langit dancing away...takkan lah kuli-kuli nak buat bodo...ye tak?? Hehehe... teringat zaman concert sekolah, terhegeh-hegeh menari atas stage each time teacher's day lah, year end party lah...Without fail ini lah muka yang naik stage...My friend NALZAM wanted me to upload videos of the performance...hehe...tak boleh beb...nanti akak kena sue...saman malu sapa nak bayar....???Tengok gambar jer ok??



So for the next 3 days, Friday , Saturday and Sunday, we had a good time socialising with the very friendly media people, shopping in Rumah Mode, Grande, DSE, Pasar Baru, makan nasi padang, nasi sunda, staying at the Arion Bel Swiss Hotel and at the same time getting to know our colleagues better. They say you will never know a person till you travel with them...Betul jugak lah..

tak tahan tengok seriously...especially yang step bukaan kaki 45 darjah tapi masih sangat ketara kekejungan nya itu walaupun di dalam still photo sajork. Matilah cikgu linda jasmin kelar2 tangan sendiri kalo kena choreograph kan group ni kan?
hahaha.

Seronok ek Bandung, it is so gonna be in my next 'to go' list!

Btw, she didn't snore...tapi...tak taulah plak kalau i tak dengar sebab akak kalau dah tido boleh tahan tidoq mati...

Burp! Alhamdulillah... dah berbuka semua? We berbuka at home today. Actually since puasa started 9 days ago, memang kami berbuka at home. We prefer it that way. Tak kelam kabut nak solat maghrib di luar although Alhamdulillah sekarang ni banyak tempat berbuka dah provide tempat bersolat. Tapi mana boleh beat buka at home, lepas buka boleh terus lepak-lepak atas katil solat Maghrib kan? kan? Today our menu was : our usual brown rice, ikan goreng selar kuning (yellow thread fish), kangkung goreng belacan ( water spinach fried with prawn paste chilli), acar buah (bought from my cousin) , my husband’s telur dadar (omellete) and for sweets, I made jemput jemput . This is what we call these banana balls or orang belah sini panggil cekodok (I could never associate this beauties with an animal name, though... kodok sounds kinda gross). Japan, April 2018

I was in Tokyo last month. Alone... well there were millions of people in Japan but yeah I was travelling alone. Up till the night I boarded the plane, I was still asking myself “Oi! Apasal nak pergi sorang arr? Japan pulak tu... London kan senang? Gang ramai, semua cakap English” Ok panic kejap tapi tak boleh keluar kapal terbang dah.. So, yup, there I was on that MH night flight with an itinerary for 8 days in Japan. No turning back, perempuan! April was my birthday month and what I wanted was to spend it quietly alone. Anyway, last year I had enough birthday celebrations to last me till this year. Alhamdulillah for good friends and family! Sampai Narita at almost 7am. First time in Tokyo and how do I buy a train card? With a lot of asking (ayam and itik bercakap) and hand gestures. Salam Ramadan

Assalamualaikum and Salam Ramadan! Wow! Hello! Am back! Been a while. 6th day of Ramadan and I’ve been quite good (I think) managing my food intake. Saya sudah tua la; have to start being more serious about what I put in this old engine. So, I was in a 10 days detox program just before Ramadan and managed to bring the weight down by 2.7kg; not much but good for me as it has sort of kick off a better eating habit. People who knows me are well aware that I love food. I used to run a lot so the weight was somehow kept in check. Now that I have significantly decrease my running mileage, the weight has become quite stagnant if not, moved up a bit! Eek! So for those interested, this is my go-to recipe for sahur, which is super easy and super healthy. It’s the Chia Seed Pudding. Lots of recipes online but here’s mine: I use a mason jar this.
