Lonely In Bandung- Part 1

The plan was hubby was to join me in Bandung on Sunday, the last day of the working trip. Excited lah kan menunggu the man datang...Akak pun dengan perasaan yang sangat condifent tak lah bershopping sakan masa kengkawan lain macam langau dekat factory outlet tu sumer....sebab tunggu hubby datang nak shopping sekali....Tup...tup at around 12ish when he reached LCCT for his 1.05pm flight, dengan bangganya staff Air Asia tu cakap dengan dia passport dia tak cukup 6 month validity...When I got the phone call from him , rasa macam nak pitam pun ada jugak...Matilah akak nak dok kat Bandung sengsorang for the next 2 nights...

We tried looking at other options like changing his tix, while renewing his passport and also other crazy idea like ....mampuih pi lah immigration...naik jer lah flight...apa nak jadi, jadilah...tetapi member terpikir plah takut jadi macam Tom Hanks dalam movie apa tu...lupalah plak title...jadi macam orang tak der negeri duk kat airport jer sampai berjanggut...hehehe...

At last, we decided..dengan hati yang frust senonggeng.....for me to stay on alone...as we have the room and my ticket back all booked. Ticket dia kira burn lah...Patut ler Air Asia kaya....Tony Fernandes kata..."Pakcik kayo, pakcik kayo" katanya... So how??? I told my colleagues to go ahead to the airport tapi tak lah beritau hubby tak jadi mai...matilah nanti dia orang risau...tak pasal-pasal akak kena heret balik M'sia. Tak nak....!!!!

Bila bas diaorang dah chow ke airport, tinggal ler akak terkonteng-konteng kat DSE Factory Outlet tuhhhh...Amende aku nak buat sengsorang nih???....MAK!!!

haiyoooooo kesian ni, sensorang last2 ya? tapi yang penting tetap sempat borong sakan @ retail therapy utk mengubati hati yang luka lara kan? Tu yang sempat tanya kat 24-hr hotline AirAsia berapa hengget sekilo for the overweight charges! ;-)

Wei hang dah tgk cita CUCI? Tony ada berlakon daa.... 2 mins of cameo role! Bijak2...offer the big boss a minute role, squeeze some $$ from him and get sell-the-kom to sponsor the whole movie.

Lain kali kita bwat movie kita offer DSR la wokeh?

Burp! Alhamdulillah... dah berbuka semua? We berbuka at home today. Actually since puasa started 9 days ago, memang kami berbuka at home. We prefer it that way. Tak kelam kabut nak solat maghrib di luar although Alhamdulillah sekarang ni banyak tempat berbuka dah provide tempat bersolat. Tapi mana boleh beat buka at home, lepas buka boleh terus lepak-lepak atas katil solat Maghrib kan? kan? Today our menu was : our usual brown rice, ikan goreng selar kuning (yellow thread fish), kangkung goreng belacan ( water spinach fried with prawn paste chilli), acar buah (bought from my cousin) , my husband’s telur dadar (omellete) and for sweets, I made jemput jemput . This is what we call these banana balls or orang belah sini panggil cekodok (I could never associate this beauties with an animal name, though... kodok sounds kinda gross). Japan, April 2018

I was in Tokyo last month. Alone... well there were millions of people in Japan but yeah I was travelling alone. Up till the night I boarded the plane, I was still asking myself “Oi! Apasal nak pergi sorang arr? Japan pulak tu... London kan senang? Gang ramai, semua cakap English” Ok panic kejap tapi tak boleh keluar kapal terbang dah.. So, yup, there I was on that MH night flight with an itinerary for 8 days in Japan. No turning back, perempuan! April was my birthday month and what I wanted was to spend it quietly alone. Anyway, last year I had enough birthday celebrations to last me till this year. Alhamdulillah for good friends and family! Sampai Narita at almost 7am. First time in Tokyo and how do I buy a train card? With a lot of asking (ayam and itik bercakap) and hand gestures. Salam Ramadan

Assalamualaikum and Salam Ramadan! Wow! Hello! Am back! Been a while. 6th day of Ramadan and I’ve been quite good (I think) managing my food intake. Saya sudah tua la; have to start being more serious about what I put in this old engine. So, I was in a 10 days detox program just before Ramadan and managed to bring the weight down by 2.7kg; not much but good for me as it has sort of kick off a better eating habit. People who knows me are well aware that I love food. I used to run a lot so the weight was somehow kept in check. Now that I have significantly decrease my running mileage, the weight has become quite stagnant if not, moved up a bit! Eek! So for those interested, this is my go-to recipe for sahur, which is super easy and super healthy. It’s the Chia Seed Pudding. Lots of recipes online but here’s mine: I use a mason jar this.
