Mak & Mummy
More than a week ago on a Sunday, we left our kids at home and made the trip to JB again. Sampai JB at around 6.30pm, we went straight to the hospital to see Mak. Yes, she was admitted yet again. She's weak and my heart breaks to see her so dependent on us, when I know that's the last thing that she wanted. Mak will never say she's sakit.. Whenever anyone ask, she will always say "Alhamdulillah..." but I know for certain she doesn't want to worry us. We stayed with her at the ward till after 11pm when my elder sister came to stay overnight with her. The next day, we were there again. After lunch she was discharged with all the reports and letter of recommendation that she will need for a referral to the GH and then hopefully to IJN to get her valves fixed. I could only pray that the process will be smooth for her.
And last week, I received a call from Aunty Rahimah to inform me that Mummy ( my mother in law) pulak masuk hospital. We went to visit her last weekend and it pained us to see a once active old lady who just before she fell sick, masih boleh turun naik bas pergi KL just to buy her cross stitch threads. When we went to UH, she was lying there in and out of sleep hardly recognising us, with tubes feeding her food. Found out from Dad who called Aisyah yesterday that Mummy is inflicted with meningitis in her spinal cord, which is makes walking quite impossibe for now. And this afternoon at lunch when I visited her again, she looked better than last weekend but she's hardly herself anymore but at least she recognised me and even managed a weak "thanks" before I left...
Mak, Mummy, we pray for your health and Allah's blessings.
