Am at home. Long weekend at home. UPSR's on Monday. Imran tak pressure langsung nampaknya...good for him... we don't pressure him anyway. Hope for the best and my prayers for him so that his brain won't be jammed on exam days. Merdeka eve....I was in front of the telly watching the Merdeka countdown through Asam Garam Merdeka on ntv7. We went to Tapah yesterday morning to hubby's aunt's house. Ada tahlil..ye lah ramadhan's coming. Jumpa opah and other relatives and we were home before 8 pm. Yup...last day of my leave! I just thot that since I've been neglecting the blog for quite some time and since I have the advantage of time today, what the heck I'll just write another one...I am on leave from work since yesterday, although half the day yesterday I was in the office in meetings.. We were in JB, the weekend of 18th and 19th for the monthly Urban Live tour in AEON Tebrau Mall, the hippest mall in JB yang ala-ala combination of KLCC and One Utama katanya....( matilah.. dah more than 2 weeks tak update!!!). I've been super busy... Took the opportunity to bring the whole family back to JB, walaupun sebenarnya dah ada 2 tiket air asia for me and hubby to go back 2 orang jer... From the little that I managed to catch, CINTA my favorite Malay movie this year macam menang banyak categories. Also Kak Min's movie, Mukhsin managed a few awards as well. I'm back with happier entry, peeps. Today is Lin's birthday. She's a Leo. Sebab tu aku boleh ngam dengan dia...cuma tak boleh kahwin jer...hehe....We bought her a Crocs slipper which she gleefully slipped on and aku paksa pakai masa keluar lunch tadi. Lunch was at JM Bariani yang dulu sedap, sekarang dah tak sedap...Tak payah lah pegi kengkawan... This is a pic of us after our shopping spree in Jakarta. Kalau nak shopping bawak lah cik kak ni, cuma jangan kasi dia jatuh jer...sebab she's prone to falling.....Boleh terbalik Jakarta di buat nyer...Tapi boleh spoil market sebab dia tak pandai tawar harga murah... Salaammmm....Am bloggin from home, people...Hari ni cuti..plus I'm feeling under the weather. It has been a really, really exhausting weekend. The whole 2 buses of us from the office were in Ipoh for the 'Urban Live' mall tour in Kinta City Ipoh. We arrived in Ipoh on Friday, 2 full days of 'fun' activities to promote the station and our programs and was back in Shah Alam on Monday. Penat...betul-betul penat. Yes, we had fun meeting the people of Ipoh, whom I wished actually watched our programs instead of just coming to get the merchandises. Of course there are some genuine fans who actually know our stuff by heart and really know the names of the personalities. Hi again people...2 hari lepas, I was going through my old stuff from at least 20 years ago. Old letters, diaries, cards and other junks and between those stuff found three small pieces of papers with my own handwriting. Cantekkkk rupanya tulisan akak masa tuh..eh..eh off topic... Anyway, it brought back a lot of memories and I remember copying those words from somewhere and made a pact to myself to somehow lead my life according to those 11 points..of course not forgetting Allah s.w.t and his qada' and qadar lah... Wowee...I have to stop making entries like this...lama betul tak tulis..Whether you miss me or not..tatau lah akak...tapi I sure miss this blog of mine..perasaan dah... I've been away peeps. Two days after my last entry, I was flying off to Cannes in the south of France for work. The night flight at 10.45pm from KLIA was delayed till about 12.20am before it took off. The 12 hours flight took us all the way to Fiumicino Airport in Rome. All the while in the flights tak bley nak tidor. Ni lah dia travel economy...kaki panjang tak muat..I was talking to this woman, from Rome, who was travelling from Sydney. She has been flying for almost 24 hours, lagi haru ...Bila dah sampai kat Rome, si fomfuan itiew dengan seronoknyer memeluk and cium akak macam dah 10 tahun kenal before she said goodbye..Hish omputih nih kalau dah berbual satu malam dah macam mak dia lah dibuatnye aku nih... At Rome airport, my colleagues yang kaki shopping sempat berGucci dan berFurla..Sakan!! Cheaper than back ...

Ha...after not writing for so long, I have two posts today...Birthdays do funny things to people. Like how we celebrated Imran's birthday in TGIF before I left for my JB trip last week. It was 5th April and he turned 12. My boy is almost a young man already. A day before that he told me he wants to get his IC tomorrow..So proud of turning 12 and getting IC, I must say... So like I said we went to TGIF do his birthday dinner and when I told him I was going to get the TGIF boys to do the normal birthday routine they always do, he was all red and told me, " Kalau mama buat, Imran nak lari masuk toilet", " Malulah", "Jangan, jangan buat...Imran lari". So in the end tak de lah. But it was a good birthday do for him anyway. The same night, I left for JB for my long over due visit to my Mak. It was me, Khairin and Zaim in the night bus to JB. Beli 3 seats, tapi the whole night, Zaim was trying to sleep on my lap. Sigh, the clingy fella... penat seh... R...

Hari ni birthday kita...The guys at work surprised me with a huge, sinful chocolate cake. And lots of sing song...Fabulous!!! Thanks guys. What's even more fab was semalam at 12 midnight masa I was dozing off on my way to dreamland, my sweet babies, woke me up with birthday song and present. Lamanya tak tulis. My last rambles were on the 18th March. That's like more than two weeks ago. I've been so busy, super duper busy....Classes are finally over. Thank God!! Tapi assignments ada 2 lagi tak siap. Matilah mek!!! Meeting the rest of my course mates tomorrow to finish the darn things. The last two weekends have been well spent. One week, we went to Cineleisure to try and catch a movie. Takder tickets so we end up at one of the outlets there, shooting hoops, playing silly fun games, playing foosbal and also karaoke. Turned out to be massive fun! Lamanyer rasa tak kuar dengan the kids and do all these fun stuff! we also hung out at Amir and Fiza's place that nite and managed to catch excerpts of the first AF concerts. Bandung was DA BOMB..a shopping haven for all things branded albeit dalam factory outlet lah kan??? Cik mur sesangat...Hubby kita shopping sakan. Beli jeans dia, tiga helai..shirts berhelai-helai, a pair of shoes...kira lengkaplah wardrobe..And I thot I was the shopaholic! Akak tak beli banyak..shopping lite-lite jer..But one thing's for sure, we made a pact to come back to Bandung. Senoroks giler!!!! We took the KLM Jakarta Bandung Twin Jewel tour so sepatutnya tour nyer haruslah keliling tourist spots in Jakarta and Bandung kan, kan??? But...

Plaza Premium Lounge-that's where I'm writing from. This is KLM Lounge for business class passengers. Will be boarding the flight at approximately 4.40pm to Jakarta. Leaving work and everytjhing behind and most importamntly WORK!!!! Yay! This is a 4 days 3 nights holiday that me, hubby and frens from his office are taking. We will be going aroung Jakarta and Bandung. This is not my first time in Jakarta but will be a completely different experience from my last trip to Jakarta last year. That one was a working trip with production of a TV program but all the same that trip was particularly enjoyable with Lin and Shikin coming along. The irony of this trip is that, Lin will also be flying to Jakarta tomorrow and Shikin will flying in on Monday. So basically we will all be in Jakarta at about the same time albeit separately. Phew! Just got comfortable after reaching home from the office an hour ago. One PC done, another to go. Tonite was a session with the media on 2 returning programs, Wakenabeb! and Thursday Nite Live. After much planning, harrassing, running around, tonite's session went quite well! Well done, Fayz!!
