I've been trying out this stuff that's supposed to be very good for my general wellbeing. Will wait at least 2 weeks before I share my findings and experience. The weekend has been so hectic. 2 days of our Urban Live thingy in One Utama was loooooooonnnnnngggggg but surprisingly I don't feel as lethargic as I expected..wink, wink...maybe it's this new thing I'm trying... We were in a 3 hours presentation with NBC Universal the first half of the day..Before that was Monday morning sales meeting... Lunch at One Utama. Got hubby his birthday present...I'd like it for myself so hopefully he digs it as well!!! In the office, I got so pissed off....bloody pissed off about something that I can't describe here lah...but now, it's ok lah because I have vented it off to the person that caused it, in the first place.I fraking hate it when people take credits for things that they did not do and other people who's ignorant and has a lot of preconceive...

It was so nice to be in bed this morning...what a drag to wake up and go to work!! I could stay in bed all day...Although Zaim's was taking half of my space, I still think it's better to stay in bed instead of being in the office... But here I am..with proposals half done and imagining at the back of my head my boss's read ears, controlling his anger...shouting " I want it on my table NOW!!!!" There goes my early morning siesta... I read my daughter, Aisyah's blog today and saw this... KEBENCIAN ITU HARUS HAPUS AKU BENCI BILA MEREKA TIDAK BERCAKAP SESAMA SENDIRI BILA MEREKA BERGADUH ENTAH PASAL APA TAK HABIS-HABIS HAISHOOH AND PC AKU ROSAK :/ We really have to do something about our PCs at home...among other things... Aisyah has a talent for writing. For someone her age, she's 14 btw, she should be complaining less about how bored it is to be at home during this school hols and start using her brain to write stuff. My son, Imran. His UPSR results came out yesterday. The phone at home was dead the whole day..so I was frantically calling everyone around the neighbourhood to no avail. Their phones are dead too. Wretch!!! What is bloody TM doing...?? Frankly, I expected the worst. Cause no news is almost always bad news....When I reached home, he said he got 3As and 2 Bs..Hey...ok what..not that he tried his best...Because potentially, I know he can do better than that...but this guy with his 'I couldn't care less that the exam's coming I rather watch TV" attitude, is a hard nut to crack. The more you push him, the more he will rebel against you. Like his atuk say...'he is so like his late dad'. So I rest my case... I got Aisyah to reenact the whole result announcement thingy to me.. Chronic kan...?? Anyway, Aisyah said she felt like crying when she sees Imran standing all alone looking at her, when all his friends who got 5As and 4As has been called out..Tak sangk...

Lin, Angie, Bundle, Jaya and me went to Xan's house today to have the most wonderful, freshly baked scones I've ever tasted...There goes my my never ending diet...Matilah mek!!! To top it all, we also had pizzas from Dominoes, Susan (Xan's mum, the ever gracious host) "very delish I don't know how she mixed it coffee", home made orange and white chocolate cheesecake and to die for chocolate cake, all made with a lot of passion and lurveeeeeee...hehehe..we're the lucky ones... Choc cake with Xan's manicured hands in the background and the scones that made us feel like we are in England When we got back to the office after lunch, Zafran said, Que Haidar dah sampai..". I forgot he was coming for a casting session. went to check out the boy at the cafeteria and ran into Abg Dee instead....Hehehe...biasalah Abang Dee...always the sweeetest guy with the curliest hair on his h ead and never failing to smell so nice...Btw, saw Que Haidar at the bac...

That day ah...this boy ahhh..came to my mum's house in JB to beraya you know...after makan-makan and chit chatting a bit, he ahhh....became like this you know... see lah...what raya do to people... Some more ah...got another man ahhh....drive around town to beraya and makan kuih raya a lot ahhh...became like this... Third one ahhh maybe ...sakit perut so had to try and bring out the stuff he ate the way it came in....maybe lah... Aiyoh...my mother's cat also ...like that one ah??? Notice the similarities with the 2nd pic??? After all the raya visiting, aiyoh!...my mom's place became a massage parlour cum massage technique school...Horror!!!! Sakit oh....What were they thinking??!!

This is how the restaurant look like...The 45 degrees staircase going up to the 1st floor. The first floor complete with classic adornments , the likes of deer horns, old tiles, gambar Sultan and Sultanah Johor (wajib nih), old school cash register and telephone plus senior waitresses with red dyed hair...hehehe...sorry auntie!!! The food and drinks are being pulleyed up (is there such word) to the 1st floor before being served to us... Every time I make the trip back to my hometown, we never fail to eat at this old cina restaurant right located right smacked in the center of JB. It's called Hwa Mui by the way. Before ada Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Uncle Lim and all the Kopitiams of the world, aku dah pergi dulu. My late abah used to bring me and some times my sister to this joint, ewah..joint ke?? and have the best kaya toast and milk tea in town. Sampai sekarang ni pun Uncle Lim tak boleh challenge lah.... Imran enjoying the kway teow Hwa Mui!!! ...

First day of Hari Raya, we were in my sis in law's place beraya with hubby's family. \After the scrumptious raya meal and lot of photo sessions, we drove to my late husband's grandma's place in Segambut. After Segambut, we drove to Tapah to visit hubby's grandma and also his aunt. By the time we reached home it was almost 9pm. After freshening up, we went for dinner at Kayu in Dataran Prima before we got ready for the journey back to JB the next day. The kids had a whale of a time dozing off on the way back to good ol'JB And this is how they sleep in Tok Mak's house....hehehe.. For the 6 days that we were there, we managed to squeezed in visits to older relatives, my aunt, cousins besides melayan melayan visitors yang datang rumah Mak. As usual memang ramai and almost non-stop sampai late night pun ada..The saddest thing about Raya was that my Mak was not well sampai ke tahap yang tak boleh nak jalan on the 2nd day that we were there. Kesian...

What the fudge am I doin in the office today????!!! When I reached the office at 9.20am today (...hehe overslept boss...) even the aircond was not on and I saw 2 colleagues fanning themselves with papers..Awat lah hangpa tak call maintenance?? Tunggu aku jugak call baru, aircond buleh on...I guess maintenance forgot that it's still a working day today... Haha, the CEO walked around shaking hands with evryone wishing selamat hari raya... He said..dia banyak dosa when he shook my hands...apa lah boss aku nih..kelakau... I'm just waiting for the time to get out of this place. It's unofficially a half day today...the reason why I didn't take leave..Rugi oii...Half the office is gone though... Semalam, when I got home my maid dah pasang curtain baru...Haiyoh!!! Itu curtain pendeklah...salah jahit...sedey...I immediately sms'd the tailor yang dah balik kampong so have to use the curtain till she comes back after raya to repair it... I k...

Last Sunday, masa tengah boring giler sebab tak keluar rumah and my hubby tak nak bercakap pasal dia kata dia sakit gusi yang dah dekat sebulan sakit, I took the opportunity to watch CINTA all over again, the 3rd time for me. But the difference with watching it the first and second time is that I had the comfort of watching the production values, the emotions and facial expressions of the actors and also the chance to rewind sesuka hati sebab nak dengar dialog and shots yang sangat poignant itiew. The facial expression of actors like Rashidi Ishak, Ngasrizal, Nanu, Datuk Rahim Razali reflects the pain and sorrows each of the characters that they played.,...Hmmm...patutlah cerita nih menang award sebab dah tengok 3 kali pun rasa ok lah... I won't waste my time reviewing the movie as it has been done countless times by a lot of people. Rather I want to zoom in on my favorite lines/dialogues in the movie..Something like quotable quotes lah ni. Brilliant script writing at most place...

Ada part 2 lah plak...Bila masa time-time rajin nih, bukan main hupdate blog. Kerje banyak tapi tak kira lah...take a break jap.. and I seriously encourage others to take a breather from work some time. At home now...6 hours since I stopped writing...Had laksa johor...or so they thought that's what they are selling..haha..tak sedap giler..Since when laksa johor ada kacang panjang and the gravy ada daun kesom..Silap besar..tapi tak per lah makan sikit. Saturday hari tu we had break fast at Yati, my sister in law's place. I cooked ayam masak kicap for all the children. And other sis in laws cooked other stuff. Yati masak gulai (kalau kat Johor orang panggil kari) ikan telang masin like how my late mother in law used to cook. Before I marry into this family, ikan telang pun I didn't know existed. Rupanya sedap. Hubby and his 2 brothers had a whale of a time eating. ...

Here I am.. the weekend has just passed. 12.15am now...and I'm watching and hoping that Zaim falls asleep soon...Khairin is already in dreamland..I wonder how she manages to fall asleep effortlessly every night..Anak-anak, I guess, tak ada apa nak dirisaukan that can cause them sleepless nights...Oh! how I wish we adults can enjoy carefree days with not much to worry about... I managed to meet up with Fenti together with Nuar and Fizah on Friday nite. Asked hubby earlier whether it's ok for me to go out and meet them.He said he won't be coming home for break fast and may even extend his outings to drinks with friends after picking up his partner at KLIA and was alright with me going out. So I ordered pizza at the office for the kids break fast meal. reached home just after iftar sebab dok tunggu Domino's delivery at the office. Kesian, Imran said dia dah kenyang minum teh..kikikiki...nevertheless the pizzas dissapeared in a jiffy. Went out after 9pm, picked Fi...

Hari ni when I woke up, I decided that I CANNOT stand going to the office and I haven't had a break for such a long time and TODAY is the day that I HAVE TO take that long overdue break. Satu hari pun jadilah...I applied for 2 days leave this week which was rejected by my boss sebab dia kata I'm going for my Hari Raya break anyway.Boleh tak????!!!!! Ni yang akak marah nih...Dia ingat Raya ni tak payah nak prepare ker?? Cuma cuti after Raya jer? I'm not even done with Raya shopping, tau tak?? So, tak kira lah.. I'm taking the day off. Business will not close down because of me not turning up at work for one day. Aisyah is at home as they are given a break as PMR is taking place. So after we dropped hubby off at his office we drove to The Curve. Fenti told me about this new hair salon there. we ronda-ronda tak jumpa..rupa-rupanya kat office block on the second floor.  HAIRKUNST is a very swanky, nice set up. It's owned by this chap named Bambang yang baik ...

Gosh!!! It's almost the end of Ramadhan!! Where did all the time go?? Lagi 10 days jer raya...Mak!!! I'm not ready!!! Buka puasa in Paya Serai, PJ Hilton just now. Hmmm...at more than RM75 per head, I guess the food's alright. Got my hands on delish oysters, shrimps, roasted lamb shoulders, sate..the works..Ni lah untungnya tak makan nasi sebab kalau dah makan nasi mana nak letak yang lain nih. Zaida, Ju and Wan from Creatives joined the buka puasa as well. I'm really getting old sebab makan buffet macam tak larat gitu...Kalau dulu-dulu...I think I could eat more. Thanks to Yati and JS for the treat.. The kids had KFC for buka. After almost the end of puasa, hubby has, I guess run out of food ideas to buy for the kids. Last weekend we went to Tony Roma's at The Curve for break fast. The ribs are to die for...sedap!!! Yang lain tu..hmmm..Chilli's lagi sedap. Gosh! Today is already the, what...6th Day of Ramadhan...cepatnyer...yeay..yeay tak lama lagi Raya...To day is the 2nd day that I went to the gym during Ramadhan. Selama hidup ni, tak pernah exercise masa puasa...ingat kan tak larat..tapi afer trying it out...hey, it's not so bad... Like Mimi, my trainer say...less cardio, more strength training..so far, so good...cuma bila dah siang-siang macam ni...ngantuk....Imagine I was up since 4.30am for sahur..then after subuh terus ke gym from 7am to 8am.. Ish...ngantuknyer... The last few days of puasa have been alright..This year is the second year that Khairin puasa. The rest tu dah veteran dah. Yang best nyer si Zaim ..every time we go downstairs..he will start asking...Nak pergi puasa ker?? Am at home. Long weekend at home. UPSR's on Monday. Imran tak pressure langsung nampaknya...good for him... we don't pressure him anyway. Hope for the best and my prayers for him so that his brain won't be jammed on exam days. Merdeka eve....I was in front of the telly watching the Merdeka countdown through Asam Garam Merdeka on ntv7. We went to Tapah yesterday morning to hubby's aunt's house. Ada tahlil..ye lah ramadhan's coming. Jumpa opah and other relatives and we were home before 8 pm. Watched the coolest musical program also on ntv7, Nite Of Soulful Stars Merdeka Special with Sheila Majid, Datuk Shake, Anuar Zain, Juwita Suwito and Khatijah Ibrahim. Best, best, best. was sms'ing with AMG. He loved it, it surprised him that it was actually good. Siapa tak tengok, rugi...Not everyday, you see these talents on one stage. Woke up early anyways, send Imran to school sebab hujan lebat and the only umbrella that's available at home is the pink colour Avon one that he wouldn't be caught dead with...Later, got ready, we dropped Aisyah in school and I dropped hubby off at work. Made arrangement to go for breakfast with Mak Ungku. Turned out she has to go to TNB in Bangsar to get some stuff so we ended up in La Bodega. Bestnya Big Breakfast!!!! Nyum!Nyum! I just thot that since I've been neglecting the blog for quite some time and since I have the advantage of time today, what the heck I'll just write another one...I am on leave from work since yesterday, although half the day yesterday I was in the office in meetings.. Today is loafing around the house day...nevertheless calls from work still comes in...look at the bright side...I'm still needed... Work has been quite a handful with projects that never stops...hmmm..if they stop coming...tutuplah station ye tak? Thank goodness we have capable, young people in the team. Hey! I have a new boss...She came in last week and the new structure was announced on Friday. Mixed feelings from all in the room but as usual I always take changes positively...Afterall, I take this change as having an additional person to share the workload with..Phew...watch out what's coming, boss!!!
