Not that lonely in Bandung after all..

Image
2nd day alone in Bandung...After the ghastly breakfast at the hotel....and I should tell you that because the hotel rooms and its corridors are not carpeted it can get quite noisy in the morning as people start waking, walking aro und, kids running to the pool outside your room. Memekak!!! Btw, after breakie, I took the angkut to Cihampelas. The fare was RP1500 so you can guess it's a bit far from Jalan Sukajadi. I've been in Cihampelas the last time I was with hubby..To cut the crap...I did most of my shopping here that I had to purchase a big backpack from Cihampelas Walk or as they say it Ciwalk (aku hengat amende lah ciwok, ciwok...rupanya CIWALK...). There 's a new building in Jalan Cihampelas where an FOS called Blossom is. Eeee, best shopping tak hengat... Also managed an Urut Refleksi...Reflexology lah yang walaupun agak sakit tapi sangat best selepas jenjalan dengan shopping yang berbag-bag. And it only cost me RP45,000, baru RM16 beng...One thing's for...

Anyways, ni ha akak nak melalut citer pasal the last 3 days in Bandung without my beloved hubby..kwang, kwang, kwang...Dari DSE, where my friends left me I walked to another FOS along Jalan Dago...apakebende namanya..with new mission now that my hubby's not around...now that I have millions of rupiah to finish off before my flights back on Wednesday...Huwargh....!!! Walked there, with no clear notion of whether the road will lead me to the outlet or not..BUT...after about 5 mins walk, I was there. A lot of kids' stuff. Buy, buy, buy...Then head back to DSE wher I have left my luggage. On the way there, saw a music shop where I borong about 5, 6 cds. Murah bai...Only about RM14, 15 each. Sampai DSE, lepak jap minum ice coffee wh...

Lonely In Bandung- Part 1

The plan was hubby was to join me in Bandung on Sunday, the last day of the working trip. Excited lah kan menunggu the man datang...Akak pun dengan perasaan yang sangat condifent tak lah bershopping sakan masa kengkawan lain macam langau dekat factory outlet tu sumer....sebab tunggu hubby datang nak shopping sekali....Tup...tup at around 12ish when he reached LCCT for his 1.05pm flight, dengan bangganya staff Air Asia tu cakap dengan dia passport dia tak cukup 6 month validity...When I got the phone call from him , rasa macam nak pitam pun ada jugak...Matilah akak nak dok kat Bandung sengsorang for the next 2 nights... We tried looking at other options like changing his tix, while renewing his passport and also other crazy idea like ....mampuih pi lah immigration...naik jer lah flight...apa nak jadi, jadilah...tetapi member terpikir plah takut jadi macam Tom Hanks dalam movie apa tu...lupalah plak title...jadi macam orang tak der negeri duk kat airport jer sampai berjanggut...hehehe.....

Should we cut his hair???

Image
Zaim has been sporting this long, curly hair ever since we decided not to cut his hair more than 1 and a half year ago...Lately, he is losing his curls because of the length of the hair so now we are contemplating whether we should cut or not...If it's up to him, he does not want to. I think he's secretly worried and scared of the barber, which is a surprise as he's been going to one since he was a month old. And he's quite vain as whenever people meet him the comments will mostly be on his hair. So he's beginning to think that he's quite adorable with it. Curly glory When he falls asleep in the car, u can hardly see his face...it's the hair... My helper has resorted to tying up his hair high up on his head these past few days and he doesn't seem to mind, perhaps enjoying the air on his neck. The siblings objected violently on any talks about cutting his hair. Let us give it some thoughts... Will update soon...

Gosh...it's almost year end and I have not even achieved my 2007 resolutions!!!

Goodness gracious me...Tomorrow's Christmas already which leaves me a week till the new year. 2008...I like that number...not that any numbers have significant meaning to my life.. but hey!! Can't live without numbers anyway.. Since my last entry last November..so much has happened. Hubby celebrated his 39th birthday on 27th November. We went up to Cameron Highlands and spent the night at this place called, The Lakehouse. I thought I told myself I was never going up Cameron again the last time we went there. I just don't like the trip up...macamlah aku yang drive.... I was reminded again of how I loathed the journey...But the difference it made when you are anywhere with your loved one...not that bad after all... We finally moved to our new office in Bandar Utama, with heavy hearts and minds...but we have to stay positive. The new office is nice and swanky though. After all the hoohaa with fengshui or the lack of it..we finally settled down in this new pla...

Monday almost coming to an end...

I've been trying out this stuff that's supposed to be very good for my general wellbeing. Will wait at least 2 weeks before I share my findings and experience. The weekend has been so hectic. 2 days of our Urban Live thingy in One Utama was loooooooonnnnnngggggg but surprisingly I don't feel as lethargic as I expected..wink, wink...maybe it's this new thing I'm trying... We were in a 3 hours presentation with NBC Universal the first half of the day..Before that was Monday morning sales meeting... Lunch at One Utama. Got hubby his birthday present...I'd like it for myself so hopefully he digs it as well!!! In the office, I got so pissed off....bloody pissed off about something that I can't describe here lah...but now, it's ok lah because I have vented it off to the person that caused it, in the first place.I fraking hate it when people take credits for things that they did not do and other people who's ignorant and has a lot of preconceive...

Friday and we have to work weekends...rats!!!

It was so nice to be in bed this morning...what a drag to wake up and go to work!! I could stay in bed all day...Although Zaim's was taking half of my space, I still think it's better to stay in bed instead of being in the office... But here I am..with proposals half done and imagining at the back of my head my boss's read ears, controlling his anger...shouting " I want it on my table NOW!!!!" There goes my early morning siesta... Gratitude for the abundance you have received is the best insurance that the abundance will continue. - Prophet Muhammad From 'Words of Gratitude: For Mind, Body, and Soul' by Robert A. Emmons and Joanna Hill, © 2001. Lucky I have all these wisdom words sent to my mailbox on a regular basis. Makes me feel better on days when I feel down and sometimes lazy like today....And today is all about gratitude... Amin!!! p.s We will be in One Utama this weekend for our last Urban Live of the year... Hope to...

Saya baru abis tulis posting 8 October 2007

Lepas-lepas meeting, buhsan buat kerja, I opened my blog, look up the POSTS section and saw that I have 2 drafts entry that I forgot to conclude...So dengan kadar segera walaupun kerja tersangat lah banyak nya...I updated the entry on 8th October 2007. Hey! I need to take a break sometime!! Check it out folks!!! Btw, received this in my mailbox today. Share with you lah... Blessed are the ones who rely on Allah and have surrendered themselves before His will, who are grateful in prosperity and patient in adversity. -The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Shu'aib bin Se'nam From "The Bounty of Allah." Aisyah buhsannnnnn.......

I read my daughter, Aisyah's blog today and saw this... KEBENCIAN ITU HARUS HAPUS AKU BENCI BILA MEREKA TIDAK BERCAKAP SESAMA SENDIRI BILA MEREKA BERGADUH ENTAH PASAL APA TAK HABIS-HABIS HAISHOOH AND PC AKU ROSAK :/ We really have to do something about our PCs at home...among other things... Aisyah has a talent for writing. For someone her age, she's 14 btw, she should be complaining less about how bored it is to be at home during this school hols and start using her brain to write stuff. Who knows, I can start sending her junk to the papers...Check out her blog at http://karutologik.blogspot.com/ Aisyah lamenting about her so called borrrinng school hols and the kaput PCs at home.....

My son, Imran...

Image
My son, Imran. His UPSR results came out yesterday. The phone at home was dead the whole day..so I was frantically calling everyone around the neighbourhood to no avail. Their phones are dead too. Wretch!!! What is bloody TM doing...?? Frankly, I expected the worst. Cause no news is almost always bad news....When I reached home, he said he got 3As and 2 Bs..Hey...ok what..not that he tried his best...Because potentially, I know he can do better than that...but this guy with his 'I couldn't care less that the exam's coming I rather watch TV" attitude, is a hard nut to crack. The more you push him, the more he will rebel against you. Like his atuk say...'he is so like his late dad'. So I rest my case... I got Aisyah to reenact the whole result announcement thingy to me.. Chronic kan...?? Anyway, Aisyah said she felt like crying when she sees Imran standing all alone looking at her, when all his friends who got 5As and 4As has been called out..Tak sangk...

This came in my office mailbox today...

When I switched on my pc at work this morning, this was the first email on the list. Allah wishes to lighten your burdens, for man was created weak. -Qu'ran, An-Nisa, Surah 4:28 From "The Bounty of Allah," translated by Aneela Khalid Arshed. Copyright 1999. All rights reserved. Timely, I feel, on this day when I'm feeling really down. Time to make the best of things, count my blessings and learn from mistakes. And REPENT...and hopefully in time, I will reach a stage where I know exactly what is liked by the people I love....Sorry from the bottom of my heart...

Of beautiful scones, chocolate cakes & good company

To top it all, we also had pizzas from Dominoes, Susan (Xan's mum, the ever gracious host) "very delish I don't know how she mixed it coffee", home made orange and white chocolate cheesecake and to die for chocolate cake, all made with a lot of passion and lurveeeeeee...hehehe..we're the lucky ones... Hwa Mui Restaurant JB

Image
This is how the restaurant look like...The 45 degrees staircase going up to the 1st floor. The first floor complete with classic adornments , the likes of deer horns, old tiles, gambar Sultan and Sultanah Johor (wajib nih), old school cash register and telephone plus senior waitresses with red dyed hair...hehehe...sorry auntie!!! The food and drinks are being pulleyed up (is there such word) to the 1st floor before being served to us... Every time I make the trip back to my hometown, we never fail to eat at this old cina restaurant right located right smacked in the center of JB. It's called Hwa Mui by the way. Before ada Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Uncle Lim and all the Kopitiams of the world, aku dah pergi dulu. My late abah used to bring me and some times my sister to this joint, ewah..joint ke?? and have the best kaya toast and milk tea in town. Sampai sekarang ni pun Uncle Lim tak boleh challenge lah.... Imran enjoying the kway teow Hwa Mui!!! ...
