Aku sihat jer!!! Tak sakit pun!!! There...I feel better already...See what positive thoughts can do to you? Macam real ler... We were at the launch of season 3 of The Firm yesterday. First time, I step foot in The Pavillion. Uisshhhh...macam kat Singapore, better than Bangkok. The launch was done in The C.Club. Uishhh....berpinar-pinar mata akak tengok diamonds. Just looking...pun dah seronok...apa lagi kalau dapat kan? I was freaking hungry sebab we rushed out at lunch time and by the time the hordevours arrived I was beyond hunger. Friday was the day of our BIG 10 Anniversary Party where: I took the wrong turn to go to KL and ended up at Bukit Jelutong and ended up in KL Convex quite late... Almost everyone came in black and gold It was free flowing champagne and liquor all the way so SOME people really had fun although those who didn't drink also had fun, and they can actually remember the fun they had...hahaha We had a record of almost 1000 plus attendees And again we had FUNNNNNN!!!!!! Saturday Hubby took us to Wendy's yang sangat sedap...Head on to the outlet in Jaya One yang parking senang g iler and no traffic...and nice view while you eat as well. At night we went for my neighbour's daughter's wedding in Puspanita Hall....I didn't even know this hall existed... This is the 3rd wedding I've attended this month...and this morning I received two wedding invites for August!!! Sunday Aiyoh!!! Tak boleh bangun...Demam...my throat is killing...

Went for my long overdue ortho appointment in Pantai Medical yesterday. Saw Dr Pasupathy who did a good job on my tailbone pain way back in 2004. I have had this constant pain on my back, my left knee and also the region around my right toes since a few months back. Dr Pasu quickly gave me his diagnosis. 1. The back - Caused by my posture or my attempt to correct my posture 2. The knee - Caused by the slight 'alignment lari' of my left ligament that holding the knee 3. The toes - Caused by beautiful, cheap shoes I was prescribed with Glucosamine and also Chondroitin, which I have been buying for my Mak, who has chronic osteoathritis on hr knees. Pengsanlah dah tiba masa untuk makan ubat untuk senior citizen nih!!! I also went to rehab! Rehab katanya. Terus terasa macam Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan & Amy Winehouse nih. Masuk rehab...No, no, no...Well, it's actually physiotherapy with Su who taught me how to exer...

Didn't make Xan's birthday after all , yesterday. I received a call from Mak informing that my cousin, Long Uzir's wife has passed on Monday morning. Kak Long Eda finally succumbed to her liver disfunction coupled with breast cancer and other complications. Al Fatihah.... We were in Country Heights till late last night. Also met my younger sister and other cousins.. Abg Wad, Kak Nen and the kids are also back in Malaysia for the summer break. My nephews and niece are so grown up already. The last time we saw them was 2 years ago. Aliff has long hair and it's so funny when he told everyone that " I'm a Rocker" and he really meant it. Was at the gym early this morning which explains the 'nearly falling asleep at my desk' syndrome...Ohhhh.....it's going to be a looooooooooooooooong, sleeeeeppppppyyyy day!!!!

Ngantuk nyer...This morning when the alarm went off, dengan cargasnyer akak bangun sembahyang Suboh and got ready for gym and when I looked at the time it was only 5.19am!!! Mak!!! Salah set alarm!! Apa lagi? Terus kiewww tarik selimut hubby kieww itieww dan tidur balik and I end up arriving at the gym about 20 mins late. My PT called while I was parking the car. Ye, ye.....I was walking to you la...weh...tak boleh lambat sikit. My sis and hubby came to stay over on Saturday, with the intention of helping us paint some of the walls in our home. My sis really love all this DIY stuff. She used to drag my abah to the hardware store to buy lots and lots of paint so that she can do stuff to my parents house. We did go to the hardware on Saturday, but got so cuak about the colors so we waited for hubby to come back on Sunday, not that he was much help in that department lah... tapi dia tolong bayar tau??...My sis was done painting in an hour and this is how our staircase wall looks li...

Pepagi buta...well ehhmmmm....just before 10am today, I was stirred from my weekend sleep-in with a text message from Zaida " Skunk Fu ada babi lah"....she's talking about this new cartoon that we are showing on air...Aku jawab " Tak pe...kita suka babi".I just remembered that she told me that they received complaints from viewers that one of their cartoon shows pun ada character babi. Terus the show was taken off-air! Matilah...I grew up watching Porky Pig, Miss Piggy on TV tapi tak der pulak rasa teringin nak makan babi...hehehe...if anything it taught me to be more tolerant of my friends who does eat babi walaupun mereka tak bela babi....huwargh!!!And I am aware that BABI TU HARAMZ!!!! Orang Islam tak boleh pegang apalagi makan tau, adik-adik...dengar cakap akak nih...Anyway, kita tunggu lah ada tak orang complain pasal cartoon babi itu..Ke ko nak hantar sms complain Zaida???? Anyway, lepas tu ajak Zaida and Nuar gi breakfast near Wisma FAM in ...

Today was my first personal training session Mei Yee at the gym. She was cautious, i guess, it being my first session with her since my last trainer left and also the fact that I told her that I'm supposed to see a orthopaedic next week for my back and knee pain. Phew!! I went to the office dengan semangat " Hari ni hari Jumaat, nak kerja light-light jer" but no it isn't!!! Meetings, trouble shooting is the order of the day. Left the office at almost 8pm. Hubby is in Singapore for a business trip. He smsed asking me what I want from there. Let's see if he manage to get what I asked for. Balik cepat jer lah, boleh tak? Dozed off after 1am, post a marathon of Cashmere Mafia. Thank God It's Friday!!

Suka betul budak dua orang ni semalam..ye lah it's not everyday that you get married kan?It was a beautiful wedding with two wacky emcees, Rina and Douglas who made the otherwise normal serious wedding into a casual, relax affair. That plus a band called 'SICK BAY' which consists of Naz's cousins dengan seorang pakcik yang cool memakai baju melayu maroon/burgundy yang dengan coolnya menggoreng keyboard masa bebudak tu nyanyi lagu Deep Purple "Smoke On The Water" and also Naz's former singing group, Soulstreet yang menyanyi lagu jiwang-jiwang siap harmonize lagi. Lepas tu, Hafidz came to me and asked me for a lift to the office and that his sister just passed away Innalillah...Kesian Hafidz. His sister was only 26, with one child who is a bit more tha a year old. This morning, we went for the funeral. I feel for the family, and I know how it felt to lose the people that we love cause I can still feel it...Alfatihah...Be strong Hafidz. Take your time to...

Night Shyamalan's The Happening which was pretty crappy yesterday, if not for Mark Wahlberg...and also watched the first episode of Lipsatick Jungle starring Brooke Shields, which is waaaaaaayyyyyy better than Cashmere Mafia...move over Lucy Liu!!! Nevertheless, for all of you who would rather wait ...catch both shows on ntv7 soooonnnn... !!

This morning at about 11am, all of us in the office, made a helluva din in the whole building bringing with us cupcakes, black , gold balloons, purple and gold popcorns in celebration of our 10th anniversary. We had so much fun...and am glad I decided not to go to the gym this morning coz walking around the office was enough workout for the day...This year is my 8th year in this family and hoping for more feel good years to come.....!!!

There's a few written signs outside Aisyah's room. Yeay! Got a call from Emi at around 11nish, saying that she was just in an accident and by the spund of it, she was pretty shaken. So Shahril and I decided to try and comfort her. Shahril drove at full speed to where she said she was. Huiyoh...her Peugeot quite smashed up and lucky her hubby was already there as our friend was still in tears...Emi, as I said, I guess this is just Allah's way of telling us to calm down and not rush through life. Stop and smell the roses, luv. Anyways, the event went well, despite us having to stop a few times because of the rain. Hubby's cousin, Zahid played in a team and to my surprise they won the overall title, bagging RM...

Monthly affair, a good reason to visit the Glenmarie office, free food while we celebrate the June babies....need I say more...

Last week I was in the kids' school taking their report cards...Aisyah did well, Imran did fairly well despite the endless tv, PS2, footie, sleeeeeeppppp....... Met an old friend from at least 10 years back, from my banking days...and we got to talking about our parents ladidadida.....and how both of us have similar experience of not being present when our abah passes on...how it still affect us to this day..on what could've been if we had been there and the 'guilt' that we felt to this day of not doing more for them when we had the chance to. And believe it or not, we both ended crying... right there waiting for our turns to see the teachers... Alfatihah...to both our abah...
