The day started as a normal working day for me...penuh dengan rasa tak boleh bukak mata pagi ni sebab malam semalam sebuk surf the net dalam usaha giat nak cari tambang murah nak pergi holiday bulan September nih...mission accomplished!! Have book all the seats needed for our flight out of Malaysia this raya....Sejarah dalam hidup nih...tak pernah seumur hidup aku raya tak balik rumah Mak kat JB..Mintak hampun Mak....sebelum Raya kita balik ok...as often as possible ... Our admin lady, Jess have arranged a couple of interview sessions for the vacant admin exec post. Adik- adik semua, kalau datang interview for a job, tolong lar prepare jawapan apa yang patut yer...Kalau jawapan masa interview pun ala-ala sayuuuu jer macamana lar akak nak amek kerja kan??? No matter how nervous you are about the interview, please put your best to it because really the first impression counts...So far belum ada lagi yang impressive...Sometimes I wonder if these are the results of our education system....

Sebok sangat nak cuti...cuti sungguh minggu lepas...blog pun cuti... Untuk pengetahuan sumer, akak telah finally dapat balik JB jumpa dengan Mak yang hampir lupa whether dia ada anak pompuan dan cucu-cucu yang agak ramai kat KL..KL ke...Selangor more it.. Jadi sebelum orang tua tu lupa dan tukar hak nama rumah pada nama orang lain, baik akak balik tu remind her..."Mak, mak, I'm still alive!!!"Hehehe... Untuk mengsummarykan percutian yang agak panjang di JB, dibawah ini disenaraikan aktviti-aktiviti bebas yang sempat diaktifkan semasa kami hanaks-beranaks kat down south!! 1. Sempat makan lontong kering yang giler ah...World!! 2. Goreng pisang,keledek yang dicicah dengan cili kicap yang kalau makan memang nanges punyer.. 3. Ice kacang JB yang sempat dimakan semasa bungkus murtabak 13 keping untuk dibawa balik ke KL 4. Mak siapkan Laksa Johor untuk anak dia, orang Johor yang aksyen kalau kat KL tah hingin nak makan Laksa Johor yang jual ka...

From top to bottom : my colleagues who were in their best togs yesterday night, penulis semasa dicat muka, penulis bersama budak nakal bernama Noh yang menelefon anak dara ku di tengah malam, M. Nasir's dikir barat team, the magnificent stage and MUH and HUJAN in action during rehearsals.. What started out of with the indecision of whether we were going to do it or not, and then the okayed from the management that yes! we're doing it in as late as January when planning usually starts as early as November, culminated in one of the best shows in the history of AIM yesterday night! And I'm proud to claim that I played a big role in the show. Walaupun kehidupan ku menjadi agak kucar kacir selama 4 bulan yang lepas, bersama budak-budak yang namanya Shahril, Fayzrul, Tony & Hanif!! But really we worked really hard for this one night! The show turned out to be compact with a good line up of stellar performance that when it ended, most of us thought it did way too ...

This has been occupying my waking hours and giving me nightmares in my sleep, keeping me extremely busy the last few months. I look forward to this weekend when I can close this chapter of my work. Kerje tetap tak habis walaupun AIM selesai this weekend, tapi at least I can concentrate on other stuff after this. Do watch the show this weekend. I can promise you a different show than other local award show! Catch the blue carpet at 8.30pm as well, nar...Merasa lar!!! Dalam pada tu, kerja lain tetap jalan ya...Last weekend we were in Bandar Sunway Residents Association and NST Street Carnival di dalam bahang kepanasan dan di celah-celah manusia bermacam bangsa dan ragam kat Bandar Sunway. Mak letih nyeh...letih!!! Panas...Your country so hot, you know...Takper...I'm taking off from work for this tommorrow...hehehe (evil laugh!!) Kerje, kerje jugak beb...tapi sempat jugak meet up with old school friends, some I have not met for ages and some have met at earlier reunion...

It's been a rough week. A lot of things are changing in the office, at least for me. Change is good, I hope. Have to cope with a lot more. More things to do. More colleagues to work with. Hmmm, are my skill sets ready for this? I have my doubts. But other people don't seem to think so....or are they waiting for someone to fall flat on her face...huhuhu...the thoughts are scary...freakin horrorific to the highest degree!! This is one of the most stressful period of the year for me...bila yang tak stress ar?? The last 2 months has been a roller coaster...almost nerve-wrecking! And now these new changes. I hope I won't go into a nervous breakdown! Time to chill this weekend but Sunday have to work the first half of the day. It's fun work but still work. Aku nak makan goreng pisang kat JB yang cicah dengan sambal kicap tu lar...Mak!!! Nak balik JB! Eee...sedapnyer goreng pisang...terliur teringat ni!! Ice kacang kat JB sedap jugak!! Kaki perempuan sepanjang 10 meter...or close...hehehe Lelaki?? yang cantik macam pompuan...jalan-jalan atas pentas dengan seluar ketat potongan terkini...skinny pants for work ,boys?? The dress worth dying for that unfortunately I don't have the bod to wear... Seluar dalam model bila kain dia terselak tengah jalan kucing... Almost bouncing out of the blouse chest... But above all that, the NEW SPRING-SUMMER COLLECTION FOR RAOUL memang cantik sesangat..

In action!!! Adik really enjoying the acts!! My little drama queen My drama queen, Khairin was involved in Digi RAP project with her school taking part in the acting competition on Sunday. The diva has been in and out of the house attending rehearsals and practice sessions in school. From one measly line that she was not very happy about, her teacher gave her extra dialogues for her character, the pink rabbit. And their school managed a silver placing, the 2nd place. Not bad for a maiden participation!

My weekend went like a whirlwind. Hubby is away for his company trip all the way in Pulau Kapas and will only be back today but life goes on... My weekend seems to have fallen into a consistent pattern nowadays...drive kids for school activities, gym, lunch out, in-out of the house.. busy!! The gym was quiet on Saturday but saw a few familiar faces..I must find out about this L-Carnitine thingy that one of the guys is talking about. Apparently will help with low energy level that comes along with age...huhuhu... Ek eleh...anak sapa yang dok nyanyi bukak mulut besaq tuh...macam birthday dia.. After gym, went to the office for a while to check out photoshoot for Anis, one of our news anchors before picking up Aisyah from Fizah's house (transit from school). We went for lunch at Liz's house for Hannah's birthday. Laksa Johor, roti jala, spaghetti bolognese, nachos...need I say more...nyum, nyum... Aqil, Esah, Zahiril Adzim pojaan Esah and me... Superb, supeb...

Semalam akak sempat melawat (haha lawatan katanyer..lawatan sambil belajar ker???)) ke Calvin Thoo's boutique in Lot10 to sort out some stuff for our upcoming award show. This new place is much bigger than his old place in KL Plaza, which I went to a few years back.. Calvin, as usual is his friendly self. This chap memamg kecik-kecik cili api...the dresses he makes are nice...some flamboyant while some classy. Check his stuff out at Lot 1o, peeps! Thanks for entertaining us, Calvin!!

I knew that today was going to be another fabulous day...I had that feeling from late last night. And true enough pepagi buta, si bujang berdua kat opis tu gave me my birthday present. This really nice, nice necklace with a biggie pendant that I absolutely love!! And a bit later, datang pulak segerombolan manusia to my table to present another gift, that surprisingly matches the gift that hubby gave me...What a wonderful coincidence!!! Very the girangs sesangatnyer!! Guys, I absolutely adore all the gifts and again many, many thank you yang tak terkira!! Later in the aftrenoon, I went to the launch of Xan's new show, that's going to be aired soon in May on ntv7. The launch went off smoothly. The venue,The Apartment is a very nice place and fits this new travel and lifestyle show of hers. Susan, Xan's mum was there as well and as usual it's always good to meet this duo of mum and daughter, both full of life and energy. I'm so happy for them that the show is fi...

Ingatkan birthday celebration dah abis hari ni...rupanya hari ni kengkawan surprisekan kita lagi dengan brownie yang besor dan syedap...Kita suker, suker, suker....! As my colleague Ee Ling puts it..."Fi, you have such sweet friends". I can't agree more. Terharu sesangat and thank you from the bottom of my heart!! These friends also treated me to lunch at our favourite restaurant, Delicious. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect thing to start my week.

My birthday started way before the clock turned 12am on the 12th April, when friends and family started sending text messages, facebook wall-to-wall and phone calls. Ah…the joy of technology!! Less paper wastage… Again, mummy duties overruled even birthday girl privileges. Was up by 6.30am to send Khairin to school for some drama thingy that she’s involved in. Then straight to yoga. The gym door was not even opened when I reached there!! Efficient tak akak?? After an hour of yoga, drove home and Imran was ready at home to be sent to Kota Damansara for a futsal match and Aisyah wants to get to a cyber café. Akak birthday girl yang juga chauffer anak-anak yer… Then back home again before me, hubby and Zaim went for brunch in this new café. Café Rozali in Kota Damansara has nice, cheap food. Pergi ar…!! After the boys’ barber visit, made a quick tour to The Curve and bought the kids some clothes from Debenhams. Cik Mur tau. Aisyah managed to get a lift from a friend so we’re relieved fro...

I am so not myself these days. I remember a time not too long ago when my weekends usually start way after 11am. I must really be getting old and a tad boring as both days last weekend I was up by 6.30am..Come on! Who gets up at 6.30am during the weekend??!! Turned out to be ME!! So there I was, sending Aisyah and Imran who have stuff going on in school on Saturday, after which I made my way to the gym for yoga at the gym. Uiihhh!! Ramailah pulak datang yoga on Saturday…I must admit although I was supposed to free my mind and let go of everything during yoga, my thoughts were all over the place.. So many things to do, so little time to do them!! After yoga, rushed home and cooked lunch, picked Aisyah up from school. At 4.30pm, went out to Alif’s birthday party which was so much fun. The kids had a blast while the adults overdosed on curly fries and root beer. By the end of the party, I think the attendees get to take back more goodies that the birthday boy…hahaha…that’s Lynn for you!!...
