Mak resting at the hospital More than a week ago on a Sunday, we left our kids at home and made the trip to JB again. Sampai JB at around 6.30pm, we went straight to the hospital to see Mak. Yes, she was admitted yet again. She's weak and my heart breaks to see her so dependent on us, when I know that's the last thing that she wanted. Mak will never say she's sakit.. Whenever anyone ask, she will always say "Alhamdulillah..." but I know for certain she doesn't want to worry us. We stayed with her at the ward till after 11pm when my elder sister came to stay overnight with her. The next day, we were there again. After lunch s he was discharged with all the reports and letter of recommendation that she will need for a referral to the GH and then hopefully to IJN to get her valves fixed. Engkorang biasa tak makan nasi lemak antarabangsa kat kg baru?? Ala...yang ramai artis dok pergi, pas tu kengkadang orang beratur ramai nak makan tuh??? And I must add, kegemukan tikus-tikus kat situ memang confirmkan nasi lemak tu sedap ker???? Btw, I can't recall the last time I went there...and tak der pun terasa nak pergi sebab akak jarang masuk KL sebenarnyer...So while I was driving home from work yesterday, I sudah ternampak buntings that says the restaurant is opened in Dataran Sunway...Apa lagi??? Dengan kadar segera I called hubby to reconfirm whether the place is opened as it's near his office. And when he said yes, terus perut kiew yang kenyang jadi lapar balik... Right after I picked up Imran and Aisyah from skool, terus g sana..and hubby was already waiting. Nice set up, nice place - a far cry from their Kg Baru joint. We ordered 3 sets of the different types of dishes that comes with the nasi lemak. And Aisyah shrieked when she saw Air Bandung Soda on the menu.....

This is the Saturday that I woke up extra early to bake 2 trays of apple and pear crumble that Aisyah brought to school for her weekend barbeque... This is the Saturday that I went for the best long-awaited facial ever... macam nih lah lebey kurang This is the Saturday that Zaim goes ga-ga over fishes at Taman Tun pasar malam when Mama gets her supply of stuff to fill the fridge... This the Saturday that we met the sweetest looking and charming boy helping his Dad at the pasar malam...

We went to Sek Ren Sri Subang in Subang Jaya and had loads of fun with the kids at the school. This is part of our on-ground activities under kids@fgw. The pictures attest to our feel good feelings at the school!!! There'll be more to come soon!! Penat nyer tarik tali......

I've been busy, neverending projects at work..press conference, partnership lunch... I had the chance to have lunch at Sheraton Imperial's Villa Danieli yang cantik. I love the hotel, its decor and the food in VD is really not bad..The set-up is so pretty. Sheraton now offers Link@Sheraton where convenient on-line experience and instant access to information are possible. So when you travel ar...you stay in the hotels, you can simply head to their lobby where wi-fi connectivity is free, free, free...These lobbies are, mind you, new and have been redesigned to becaome THE place to hang out at when you travel and stay in their hotels. Check out the Sheraton in Langkawi and also The Sheraton Imperial and a lot of other Sheratons across the region for them... I should think my next holiday should be in Langkawi....hmmmm....

Mak aku nih...dalam sakit-sakit, sempat jugak berjalan sampai ke Kajang...I guess she's bored melayan sakit jadi when my sister wanted to go back to Kajang they decided that my Kak Long should send her back so that Mak can go jalan-jalan. We took the opportunity to celebrate her belated birthday in Kajang last week. My Mak turned 70 on the 7th of June. We are hoping for the best for her and that she lives comfortably, more so healthwise for the rest of her life....Amin!!!

The boys diving fun!!! My beautiful brown Zaim Aduihhhhh!!! Penat ar...Just arrived from our 3 days Cherating trip. To summarise, we had lots to eat...nasi especially, the kids are burnt almost beyond recognition especially Zaim yang memang telah sediakala lebih gelap dari "beradik-beradik" yang lain and most importantly we had fun!!! The 2 nites we were there, I even managed to squeeze 2 sessions at the hotel gym yang half the equipment agak ancient and I didn't know how to use that I ended up just running the treadmill and doing my lunges but terasa macam makan nasi tu berbaloi!! Hik!! We had Ulil's surprise birthday do near the poolside yesterday night. The kids sure had fun! The volleyball session was the highlight of the trip where everyone had a good laugh. Before we headed home today, we made the trip to Chukai town where we had nasi kukus ( steamed rice) with lauk yang syedap, syedap!!! These were the breads that I baked on the ni...

Missed the gym the whole of last week when we were in JB and completely lost the momentum of working out. I have noticed that if I eat a heavy dinner, it would be difficult to wake up early the next morning...Alasan orang malas sungguh!! Weekend ni, weekend lepas geram pergi gym yesterday and today...yeay! yeay! I'm signing up for 5km night run happening in July..Masalahnyer boleh ker aku ni berlari??? I told hubby that I always have visions of myself running...lari cantik macam ala-ala Bionic Woman gitu ...boleh??? Giler perasan...Will see how the run go this July. Silap-silap aku chicken out tak register...Poyo jer! Semalam we went to catch Monster vs Alien 3D yang canggih giler, my hubby said selepas 41 tahun hidup baru tau macam mana tengok 3D movie. Aku kalau boleh nak lari cantek macam character Susan dalam cerita tu..Giler cun Susan tu!! Mak suker!!! Tapi i've accepted the fact that kalau aku g gym tiap-tiap hari pun tak mungkin boleh jadi macam body Susan yang cu...

I have to take out my 'Happiness' ticker from the top of this blog. Hubby said last week that his no smokes day would soon be over..huhuhu..Boleh?? I guess it IS possible to start smoking all over again after stopping for nearly 4 month..I guess the temptation is just too strong… Anyhow, I would give him his bragging rights for succeeding to stop for almost 4 months!!My only regret is that it was too short a period for him to realize the health benefits of quitting. To be honest, I didn’t think that he could go on without smoking for that long…jangan marah…so I was really impressed, for him to be able to go to work daily surrounded by hard core smokers and resisted that long. I have never asked him to stop smoking and will probably never ask him to in future, for I know better than to expect people to change for you. Just don’t smoke in the house ar!!! Lapchiewwww!!!

If you guys are looking for a place to have lunch and are located anywhere in PJ like we are, you should check out Santini in Tropicana City Mall. They have lunch set at RM14.50++ per set which are dirt cheap for the food they serve, y'all!! Real nice Italian stuff! For the 4 of us, we only ordered 3 sets and forked out only RM51 for the whole lunch...kewl bananas!! And I must mention the bread basket which came free, on the side. And the bread was still warm when it was served..nyum..nyum..My only regret was we were too full to order desserts and Lynn didn't come with us to insist that we order dessert..huwargh!!! Apa lagi tunggu, pergi lar!!

We finally bought Zaim his 2 week's due birthday present. Check out hubby giving him a head start with his new bike. We received a text from his teacher yesterday night that their school sports day is this morning..and Zaim didn't tell us anything about it. He's totally blur about the whole thing. There goes our Sunday morning lie-in. We were on the field near the school as early at 8am. Check out my little nasi kandar boy, running with all his might!!! And later taking his prize that he's very proud of.. Went to visit my in-laws in PJ. Check out the old electric guitar that my FIL gave to Imran. Bila Imran nak belajar main guitar tak tau lar... We went to check out the Gardens in Mid Valley as hubby and the kids had never been there before. Check out Khairin trying her hands on the chopsticks at Sushi Zen and the Blueberry Cheese Cake at Terri San is definitely to pengsan for!!

The day started as a normal working day for me...penuh dengan rasa tak boleh bukak mata pagi ni sebab malam semalam sebuk surf the net dalam usaha giat nak cari tambang murah nak pergi holiday bulan September nih...mission accomplished!! Have book all the seats needed for our flight out of Malaysia this raya....Sejarah dalam hidup nih...tak pernah seumur hidup aku raya tak balik rumah Mak kat JB..Mintak hampun Mak....sebelum Raya kita balik ok...as often as possible ... Our admin lady, Jess have arranged a couple of interview sessions for the vacant admin exec post. Adik- adik semua, kalau datang interview for a job, tolong lar prepare jawapan apa yang patut yer...Kalau jawapan masa interview pun ala-ala sayuuuu jer macamana lar akak nak amek kerja kan??? No matter how nervous you are about the interview, please put your best to it because really the first impression counts...So far belum ada lagi yang impressive...Sometimes I wonder if these are the results of our education system....
