Yea..that's the day the company officially turned 11. I have been here for a good 8 years of my life..Kalau budak kecik dah masuk darjah 2 dah! Some people think it's odd that I've stayed here for this long. Things has not always been good. I've been through management changes, boss changes, work load changes, role changes ntah amende lar lagi lepas ni...But through all those changes, I see myself growing not just physically (hahaha...I have gained almost 7kgs since I first came...not counting the times when I was preggy huhuhuhu) but more importantly I've grown mentally (walaupun kadang-kadang aku rasa retard pun ada...) I've come to understand the culture, the brand, the ups and downs throug the company that I faced on a daily basis. The current economic downturn gave us enough reason to celebrate ...

I went for one of the most inspiring talks John C. Maxwell, who spoke about leadership last week. Habis duit aku beli buku John Maxwell lepas tu terkedek-kedek suruh orang tua tu sign buku...Kalau lepas ni tak inspired jugak, sendiri mau ingat!!!Will add them books in my book list. Anyway, the title of the talk was "Leadership Resilience : Winning in Challenging Times" Some of the stuff that I could remember from the talk was as a leader we got to : 1. Face reality 2. See the big picture 3. Make good choices 4. Learn from bad experience 5. Value teamwork during difficult times Well, I guess the above don't just apply for the work place but also for life, in general..I especially like his quote " Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn; if you don't learn, you'll lose". So true...kalau dah situation turned bad...the least we could do is learn from them...Kalau tak memang bebal lar..... John C. Maxwell...you rock!!!

Dear Kadir, Terima kasih lar sebab susah-susah masak untuk kita. Sedap betul awak punya ikan duri masak asam pedas. Kita tak pernah makan ikan duri...rupanya sedap ek?? Pas tu cencaluk tu uishhhh...tak tahan...sehingga menjilat jari. Ikan yang goreng sambal tu pun syok... Seronok betul kita makan sampai tambah nasik walaupun selalunya kita kalau makan nasik memang tak tambah...tapi disebabkan awak masak sedap gils kita TERpaksa tambah tau...Habis diet kita. Zaid, cupcakes yang Zaid bawak untuk Kadir tu pun boleh tahan. Terasa butter dia. Yang chocolate tu pun very rich the chocolate..Kita TERpaksa makan sampai 3.Kesian kita. Terima kasih lar sebab layan kita dengan syuben kita makan kat rumah. Kalau pergi rumah Kadir memang very the meriahs sebab ramai kengkawan yang suka buat jokes mulut laserina yang tak hengat punyer. Pecah perut ketawa. PAs tu senoroks dapat jumpa Azam yang semakin gebu setelah lama tak jumpa...hehehe Lain kali kalau masak lagi panggil lah kita...

It was 2010 content pitch time again!! We went our own different way of presenting the content with sketches and enactment of the programs that we were pitching. I was 'Master Props Woman" with a team of highly competent "Props Masters". Hari Isnin, satu hari bershopping for props. We went from the serbaneka shop near my house to Mydin in Subang Jaya to Subang Parade to The Curve, which includes IKEA and Ikano....cari-cari props. And the results are what you see in the pictures here. We had fun and the pitch went really, really well. Thanks to a great team work!!

I have never been to Sooka so this was a good opportunity to check it out. I was one of the ‘mystery’ judge s for this r ound where the 6 contestants were judged base d on the food they have prepared plu s their s ta r qualities. What exactly are these star qualities, you say? I supposed it’s their personalities, the way they handled themselves when questions were asked about the food they have prepared, their characters e tc, etc, etc.. Mak resting at the hospital More than a week ago on a Sunday, we left our kids at home and made the trip to JB again. Sampai JB at around 6.30pm, we went straight to the hospital to see Mak. Yes, she was admitted yet again. She's weak and my heart breaks to see her so dependent on us, when I know that's the last thing that she wanted. Mak will never say she's sakit.. Whenever anyone ask, she will always say "Alhamdulillah..." but I know for certain she doesn't want to worry us. We stayed with her at the ward till after 11pm when my elder sister came to stay overnight with her. The next day, we were there again. After lunch s he was discharged with all the reports and letter of recommendation that she will need for a referral to the GH and then hopefully to IJN to get her valves fixed. Engkorang biasa tak makan nasi lemak antarabangsa kat kg baru?? Ala...yang ramai artis dok pergi, pas tu kengkadang orang beratur ramai nak makan tuh??? And I must add, kegemukan tikus-tikus kat situ memang confirmkan nasi lemak tu sedap ker???? Btw, I can't recall the last time I went there...and tak der pun terasa nak pergi sebab akak jarang masuk KL sebenarnyer...So while I was driving home from work yesterday, I sudah ternampak buntings that says the restaurant is opened in Dataran Sunway...Apa lagi??? Dengan kadar segera I called hubby to reconfirm whether the place is opened as it's near his office. And when he said yes, terus perut kiew yang kenyang jadi lapar balik... Right after I picked up Imran and Aisyah from skool, terus g sana..and hubby was already waiting. Nice set up, nice place - a far cry from their Kg Baru joint. We ordered 3 sets of the different types of dishes that comes with the nasi lemak. And Aisyah shrieked when she saw Air Bandung Soda on the menu.....

This is the Saturday that I woke up extra early to bake 2 trays of apple and pear crumble that Aisyah brought to school for her weekend barbeque... This is the Saturday that I went for the best long-awaited facial ever... macam nih lah lebey kurang This is the Saturday that Zaim goes ga-ga over fishes at Taman Tun pasar malam when Mama gets her supply of stuff to fill the fridge... This the Saturday that we met the sweetest looking and charming boy helping his Dad at the pasar malam...

We went to Sek Ren Sri Subang in Subang Jaya and had loads of fun with the kids at the school. This is part of our on-ground activities under kids@fgw. The pictures attest to our feel good feelings at the school!!! There'll be more to come soon!! Penat nyer tarik tali......

I've been busy, neverending projects at work..press conference, partnership lunch... I had the chance to have lunch at Sheraton Imperial's Villa Danieli yang cantik. I love the hotel, its decor and the food in VD is really not bad..The set-up is so pretty. Sheraton now offers Link@Sheraton where convenient on-line experience and instant access to information are possible. So when you travel ar...you stay in the hotels, you can simply head to their lobby where wi-fi connectivity is free, free, free...These lobbies are, mind you, new and have been redesigned to becaome THE place to hang out at when you travel and stay in their hotels. Check out the Sheraton in Langkawi and also The Sheraton Imperial and a lot of other Sheratons across the region for them... I should think my next holiday should be in Langkawi....hmmmm....

Mak aku nih...dalam sakit-sakit, sempat jugak berjalan sampai ke Kajang...I guess she's bored melayan sakit jadi when my sister wanted to go back to Kajang they decided that my Kak Long should send her back so that Mak can go jalan-jalan. We took the opportunity to celebrate her belated birthday in Kajang last week. My Mak turned 70 on the 7th of June. We are hoping for the best for her and that she lives comfortably, more so healthwise for the rest of her life....Amin!!!

The boys diving fun!!! My beautiful brown Zaim Aduihhhhh!!! Penat ar...Just arrived from our 3 days Cherating trip. To summarise, we had lots to eat...nasi especially, the kids are burnt almost beyond recognition especially Zaim yang memang telah sediakala lebih gelap dari "beradik-beradik" yang lain and most importantly we had fun!!! The 2 nites we were there, I even managed to squeeze 2 sessions at the hotel gym yang half the equipment agak ancient and I didn't know how to use that I ended up just running the treadmill and doing my lunges but terasa macam makan nasi tu berbaloi!! Hik!! We had Ulil's surprise birthday do near the poolside yesterday night. The kids sure had fun! The volleyball session was the highlight of the trip where everyone had a good laugh. Before we headed home today, we made the trip to Chukai town where we had nasi kukus ( steamed rice) with lauk yang syedap, syedap!!! These were the breads that I baked on the ni...
