Whirlwind Week!

The suite, the view from the suite, lovely scones and tea coffee, menu yang ada nama Che Det.

Yes, indeed! Langkawi was wonderful. Rebak Island Resort was very nice. Very posh room which faces the sea and we enjoyed our time immensely. The people there really made us feel very welcomed. A note to people who are looking for excitement or a lot of activities though, you have to get out of the resort to do that!! As my daughter puts it, Rebak is a perfect place to do nothing... We ended up watching episodes of DIRT. And also went around the island with the rented Kancil. We went to The Loaf dan berangan-berangan macam Tun Mahathir, enjoying lovely English scones. And unless you are looking for Corning Ware, pinggan mangkuk bagai, minyak gamat and chocolates, Langkawi is not that great for shopping. Honeymoon macam akak...ok lah...

We were in Rebak for 2 nights, reached KL via Air Asia on the third day, late at night and was off to Pahang the next morning.
Istana Abu Bakar all lighted up and the the good ole feel good gangsters.
The wedding is...different..It was a reunion of sorts, where I met most of my old colleagues who have since left the company, which was the fun bit. The whole ceremony started late though, what with waiting for the Sultans to arrive and we ended up eating at around 10ish..but Tuanku Pahang had a great time singing with the invited singers i.e Nurul, Fauziah Latif (who couldn't sing to save her life), Haiza (Hai who???), Siti Nurhaliza and the rest of the royal family had a fun time showcasing their talents. They are really a talented lot... Tuanku's talent sure rubbed on to the grandchildren...Ehmmm.... I wonder if Tengku Nurul can sing..
Tengku Nurul and Najmi looked very happy albeit a bit tired, ye lah dah masuk 3 hari the ceremonies have been going on. I'm sure they are loking forward to the end of the whole event. Do watch the airing of THE WEDDING STORY on ntv7 on the 9th November at 8.30pm.

Here I am, back home, taking another day off before starting work tomorrow...Went to the gym this morning...Rasa macam nak pengsan sebab dah lama sangat tak exercise! Aisyah starts her PMR today. Hope for the best for her...Insyallah!!
