Yesterday, I received an sms from one of my best friends, Umi, in JB. Umi : Aku nak tanya sikit boleh? Sebenarnya Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous tak? Me: Gorgeous ek...? Well, let me put it this way...kalau dia bukan artiste...kau tak tengok 2 kali lah..hehehe.. Umi : Ye ke? But my freind went to AJL and she said Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous giler!! Me: Hehehe...biasa jer... Tetiba hari ni, while I was on the way to lunch terserempak pulak dengan FT...hehehe...panjang umur budak tu.. So Umi, kalau kau nak tengok FT gorgeous ker tak...tengok ler gambar nih...

Aisyah turned 16 today. At almost 12 midnight we brought out the birthday brownie and surprised her with sing song birthday song...and she cried!!! Kenapalah dia nangis ek??? Adakah kerana: 1. Dia sebenarnya tak suker brownies dan kalau boleh nak cheesecake? 2. She doesn't like turning 16 coz it makes her older and after this she can't cry anymore? 3. She's sad because mama and ayah is getting older, with her turning 16? 4. She was expecting to get her new LG phone, dan semalam dia cuma dapat suara Ayah menyanyi lagu Happy Birthday yang agak kureng melodinya? 5. Dia memang cepat menangis...sama dengan mama dia?? I think the closest answer is NO 5!! Like mama, like daughter lah...suka pun nangis, sedih lagi lah nangis kuat...ketawa pun boleh nangis...what to do? Runs in the blood lah... And Aisyah, you turning 16 does not make me feel older ...(mama in denial). In fact, this closer age gap, makes me feel even closer to you. And I always strive...

The quaint little hotel we stayed in - Aldy Hotel, very strategic location with easy walking distance access to places of interest in Melaka. Aisyah and her nenek, with a new hair do - all permed and blacked...hehehe..

Gong Xi Fa Cai to all my friends and relatives who are celebrating Chinese New Year!! We are off to Melaka today to visit my late husband's side of the family who are all celebrating CNY! Expecting the road to be quite busy. Will blog bout Melaka when I come back! Don't eat too much Mandarin oranges, peeps!! p.s Font merah sempena CNY...hehehe...

Yesterday morning at 9am , my PT called to remind me about our training session at 11am...Yelah ...tau, tau...I was already awake but was lazing around on the bed...Went for a quick brekkie with the brood and off I zoomed to the gym, but not before dropping Imran off at Arabian for his fix of Tour Of Duty. Gym was good....tough but good!! We had late lunch of rosti, caesar's salad, sausages and apple crumble at around 3ish in Marche. Padahal baru semalam pergi Marche dengan Anis..teehee...can't get enough of their salad and rosti , I guess. Today lepak session at home. Cooked lunch, spent the afternoon doing some spring cleaning around the house...and then decided to make scones for tea, which turned out to be quite nice..Good first attempt! Walaupun ada sikit masin as I was a wee bit generous with the supposedly a pinch of salt...Tapi yang penting we walloped the whole batch in one sitting! Nyum, nyum! Nothing beats scones with butter and jam when you're craving for...
