To keep or not to keep

Sink antik The Chamber Signage antik The staircase to the upper floor of The Chamber The Art House - It was Singapore's first court house and former parliament house that has been turned into an arts and heritage venue. The main area where our conference was held was aptly called "The Chamber", where the original seating pews and "no noise" signage was kept in tact. The additional enhancement was the state of the art sound and lighting system which would put a lot of our LIVE award shows to shame!! Kg Glam (Gelam yer, bukan GLAM ) area..has been restored and turned into a commercial area with lotsa souvenir shops and coffee places.. Masjid Sultan When I was in Singapore what struck me about the city, was although you can see sky scrapers, modern building all around, you can also see a lot of old buildings being preserved and done up nicely to fit into the modern environment...Why l...

21 November 2008. This date yesterday would be a significant milestone in my life. After a 5 years period of attending classes, assignments, class projects etc, etc, etc…I finally graduated with upper 2nd class honours in PR. Most of my classmates that I started out with 5 years ago were with me yesterday. A lot of people ask why with my work experience I wasted 5 years doing a degree when I could’ve gone straight to do my Masters….well to tell you the truth when I first started I didn’t know that it was possible and after going through 5 years I have absolutely no regrets. What I have gained in knowledge and friendship for the last few years beats all the hardship of last minutes assignments, late nights cramming before the exams and all the time away from my family. The experience of life would not have been the same if I were to go to Uni right after school...Gosh! To just think of it and think of all the could've been and I wouldn't do it any other way. And all...

I am so heading home!!

Heya!! Greetings from Singapore. M now at Changi Airport waiting for my flight at 1.45pm. It has quite a mentally tiring 3 days, what with Lin's neverending shopping...no offence Lin..I really enjoyed entertaining you. This friend of mine is like a 7 year old trapped in a 30 plus body when it comes to shopping. Anything and everything intrigues her and it has been fun. Didn't shop much, it being more of a working trip. And work had been interesting. I have learn quite a bit in these 2 days. Teh speakers have been inspiring, full of ideas and as some of them say so themselves...@#!@!# good!!!! They brought with them a tremendous amount of experience about marketing, branding and on-air promotions and I can't believe some people at the office had given this a miss.. I'd go again anytime.. Missing the people at home tremendously!! Will write more!!!

Kerana saya akan bertolak ke kota Singa dalam beberapa jam lagi, jadi saya rasa macam ok lah kalau nak post buat kali ke 2 hari nih...Blog aku, suka hati aku lah...hehehe... I will miss writing for the next few days, walaupun sebelum nih pernah berminggu-minggu tak memblog...(macam real jer will miss blogging).

The past 2 weeks have been one of the busiest work weeks that I have had, not that other weeks were any better. Our yearly MPB Screenings will be taking place on this coming 28th November. This is the mother of all events (among many others..who am I kiddin??) for the group. Me and my colleague, budak kecik, Shahril tu sits...sometimes stands and almost always ran up and down, trying to get things done for THE DAY...not that it's our choice lah kan... Up till yesterday, we sat down with the editor, producer, graphic editor to get our show reel yang ala-ala tak sampai 3 minit tu right for the show. How do you get the essence of the brand right in just 3 minutes? How do you ensure that the audience that watches the showreel understand what the brand is all about? How do 2 minutes of footages gives the audience enough interest to be asking for more? That's the challenge... This morning, yes..had to be in the office by 9am on a Saturday morning, we showed the biggie ...
