Penang and others

Took the kids to Penang during the last week of the school break last week. The 3 days combined trips to the hotel pool, the Feringghi beach, overdosing of Penang food and last but not least a stop at the Taiping Zoo, which I think made Zaim's day because I have a feeling, he thinks that the animals only exist on TV.
I had the privilege of previewing 2 new movies these past weeks before their release to the public...hehe...the advantages of the job... Kabir Bhatia's latest release "SEPI" and Yasmin Ahmad's "MUALLAF". Both movies have their strength and weakness. I'm not qualified as a movie reviewer so I won't go into details here. Catch the movie when it comes out. SEPI premieres on the 20th June while MUALLAF will be later. Walaupun aku ada sikit worry takut tak lepas censorship. Am crossing my fingers for The Storyteller. They say good things will come to those who wait..

I have been watching this series call "CALIFORNICATION" downloaded by hubby starring super sexy David Duchovny...which will never get to be aired on our shore because of the explicit scenes that will make LPF's day. If you guys get a chance, do catch this one. I'm really enjoying my post student days where I can watch TV without feling guilty..

I have also been making my way to the gym more often these days as well, sebab Mak saya kata saya GUMUK...Kalau orang lain kata aku gemuk, I'd say to hell with it...but bila my Mak dah comment suruh diet...I'm taking this seriously..Matilah...there goes, the trips to Baskin Robbins and all my other favorite things.. Tak suker ah...

Posting from Dreamland

We reached Bali yesterday afternoon at 3pm and was brought to Dreamland Villa that we have earlier booked at the Matta Fair. Mazlan was so nice to come down from his office to meet us briefly at LCCT. I miss his candid jokes and funny sarcasm.. We are now waiting for the shuttle to take us to Dreamland's private beach. After this morning's breakfast of "tak mahu babinya", we need to walk the food off on the beach. Dreamland has been a dream...We chose a private villa with a private pool that we managed to swim in as soon as we arrived yesterday. The beauty about private villas, is that you don't need to bother when you realised you have forgotten your swimming gear. Hey...be my guest and jump with your jeans on or in your birth suit!! We managed to check out Kuta Discovery Plaza yesterday night looking for a currency exchange. Lots of good stuff to see and will definitely revisit before we head home. Yesterday, I received an sms from one of my best friends, Umi, in JB. Umi : Aku nak tanya sikit boleh? Sebenarnya Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous tak? Me: Gorgeous ek...? Well, let me put it this way...kalau dia bukan artiste...kau tak tengok 2 kali lah..hehehe.. Umi : Ye ke? But my freind went to AJL and she said Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous giler!! Me: Hehehe...biasa jer... Tetiba hari ni, while I was on the way to lunch terserempak pulak dengan FT...hehehe...panjang umur budak tu..
