When was the last entry again?? 3rd of May?? Ok lah tu...baru 15, 16 days ago. Y'know updating this blog is a luxury for me. Dengan kerja yang berlambak-lambak + home affairs+studies. M lucky I get to update once in a while. The exam is finaly over and it's semester break now!!! Yeay!! I got another 5 subjects to go before graduation. Help me, God!!
Continuing from my last entry about my Cannes trip, well, the last day of the trip we managed to drive across the border to Italy. To this fantastic day market in Ventigmilia. Jalan sepanjang-panjang jual barang. Rasanya 3 kali Petaling Street kot?? Mak ngan abah jer tak der kat sini, engkau..
Handbags cecantik. Yang italian leather dan berbau seperti kulit lembu yang baru...jgn orang kata bukan leather lah kan..is as cheap as 30 euro if you are lucky like moi!! Dalam RM130 lah. Kat sini tak dapat, labu..The drive from Cannes to Ventigmilia was about 2 hours. Tapi berbaloi. The weather was quite warm ..it's spring approaching summer so tak de lah sejuk sangat. Cuma at night, it gets kind of cold especially for Melayu yang dah lama dok kat Mesia!!! Kami pergi naik 2 kereta sewa..8 of us..bershopping dan berjalan sakan lah kengkawan seme..We were there for almost 4, 5 hours before we drove on to Monte Carlo in Monaco.
Ha..pergi lah menjengok Casino Monte Carlo yang famous itiew.adalah gambar2 the royalty of Monaco. Kita jenjalan kat Monte Carlo ni , we will know that it's a place for the rich..You can see all the Porsches, Lamboghinis and Ferraris of the world parking merata. Monaco is still part of France altough letaknya dekat dengan border Italy. Wah!!! Belajar Geografi lah plakkkk...Monte Carlo is also home to most of the Circuit de Monaco, on which the F1 Monaco Grand Prix takes place. Nampaklah all the racing grids..Walaupun aku ni bunga minah bunga bila tengok bunga punya lah cantik kat sini, dengan well kept landscapes and also fountains, syoknyer tengok.
After Monte Carlo, on the way back to Cannes, we stopped at Eze. Eze ni medieval village yang cantik sesangat. Old buildings and streets kat sini very well restored. Orang French pandai, building macam kat Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad kita tu dia restore balik buat tourist attraction with quaint restaurants, souvenirs shop, art gallery and art and craft place. Parts of the ruined castle yang dah lama dari zaman-zaman circa 1700 is still there. Nanti I will post some pictures with beautiful roses yang macam cantik macam bunga sepatik (plastik) gamaknya, tapi bunga betul tau...There's also a small chapel up there with a few small hotels..And I must add the view from the top is breathtaking. Cantiknya ciptaan Allah s.w.t..
Before heading back to Cannes we also stopped at St Paul De Vence, the most beautiful village in the world katanya and also the most romantic...St Paul ni is a fortified village dengan fortress walls surrounding the city. Kalau tak silap it was built in the 1400s.
Even on the walls, ada artwork from back then tau?? Katanya bila winter, kita boleh nampak snow covered alps on the mountains...betul ke tak kena datang masa winter lah plak...
Ahh...by the time we got back to Cannes, dah almost dinner time. Around 8.30pm. Kami pun makan lah kat Bangkok restaurant, the first restaurant that we went to the night we arrived. Masing-masing dah penat jumpa nasi dengan tom yam..makan tak hengat..
