Dear Nur 'Aisyah binti Ezral


Hari ni sebenarnya mama lagi nervous dari Aisyah....walaupun bukan mama yang amek PMR dan result hari ni bukan results mama...I know that you have tried your best walaupun kadang-kadang mama cuak sebab bila masuk bilik Aisyah yang macam tempat kucing beranak tu...mama nampak either buku yang baca Aisyah or you will be reading with the radio on full blast or you will be smsing away instead of studying ( Aisyah kan RATU SMS...)The only thing I noticed a lot was you did more Maths work than I used to do when I was your age...which is a consolation for me coz I freaking hated Maths!!

Mama pun risau sebab tak hantar Aisyah pergi tuition macam kawan-kawan Aisyah yang lain...the truth is...

1. I think you can excel without tuition: after all you did well for UPSR..
2. I can spend that money on other stuff like taking you guys to McD, weekend outings, duit pergi gig, pergi RANTAI Aisyah, Mama dgn Ayah boleh pergi more date nights dan lain-lain lagi
3. You can spend more quality time with us... kan? kan? kan? instead of pegi boring classes...

Sebenarnya 2 hari lepas I told ayah...that "I rasa I target 6As jer lah for her" Hehehe...jangan marah...your fault since you kept harping on and on about Geography and BM being tough. I was trying to calm my nerves down and not get my hopes up too high because the truth is harapannya tinggi melangit...kan mama cakap kalau Aisyah tak dapat 8A, mama akan menangis kuat dekat sekolah tu jugak!! Nasib baik Aisyah dapat 8A and save yourself the embarrasment of your mama crying kuat in front of your friends.

I hope and I think I also write on behalf of your Ayah, that you will continue to excel in your studies and inspire your adik-adik to do better because they can. Getting good results is just the basis of other bigger things in life... Yes, life is not about passing exams with good results but exceling in this small part of your life will give you a headstart to doing your best in everything that you do...for this and the after life.

You have made us proud...thank you...and Congratulations...

CONGRATULATIONS Aisya dearest. I'm so proud of you. I may not be there to hug and kiss you like I used to before, but my heart is always with you and your family.

Burp! Alhamdulillah... dah berbuka semua? We berbuka at home today. Actually since puasa started 9 days ago, memang kami berbuka at home. We prefer it that way. Tak kelam kabut nak solat maghrib di luar although Alhamdulillah sekarang ni banyak tempat berbuka dah provide tempat bersolat. Japan, April 2018

I was in Tokyo last month. Alone... well there were millions of people in Japan but yeah I was travelling alone. Up till the night I boarded the plane, I was still asking myself “Oi! Apasal nak pergi sorang arr? Japan pulak tu... London kan senang? Gang ramai, semua cakap English” Ok panic kejap tapi tak boleh keluar kapal terbang dah.. So, yup, there I was on that MH night flight with an itinerary for 8 days in Japan. No turning back, perempuan! April was my birthday month and what I wanted was to spend it quietly alone. Anyway, last year I had enough birthday celebrations to last me till this year. Alhamdulillah for good friends and family! Sampai Narita at almost 7am. First time in Tokyo and how do I buy a train card? With a lot of asking (ayam and itik bercakap) and hand gestures. Assalamualaikum and Salam Ramadan! Wow! Hello! Am back! Been a while. 6th day of Ramadan and I’ve been quite good (I think) managing my food intake. Saya sudah tua la; have to start being more serious about what I put in this old engine. So, I was in a 10 days detox program just before Ramadan and managed to bring the weight down by 2.7kg; not much but good for me as it has sort of kick off a better eating habit. People who knows me are well aware that I love food. I used to run a lot so the weight was somehow kept in check. Now that I have significantly decrease my running mileage, the weight has become quite stagnant if not, moved up a bit! Eek!
