Raya mood..

Gosh!!! It's almost the end of Ramadhan!! Where did all the time go?? Lagi 10 days jer raya...Mak!!! I'm not ready!!!


Buka puasa in Paya Serai, PJ Hilton just now. Hmmm...at more than RM75 per head, I guess the food's alright. Got my hands on delish oysters, shrimps, roasted lamb shoulders, sate..the works..Ni lah untungnya tak makan nasi sebab kalau dah makan nasi mana nak letak yang lain nih. Zaida, Ju and Wan from Creatives joined the buka puasa as well. I'm really getting old sebab makan buffet macam tak larat gitu...Kalau dulu-dulu...I think I could eat more. Thanks to Yati and JS for the treat..

The kids had KFC for buka. After almost the end of puasa, hubby has, I guess run out of food ideas to buy for the kids. Last weekend we went to Tony Roma's at The Curve for break fast. The ribs are to die for...sedap!!! Yang lain tu..hmmm..Chilli's lagi sedap. We wanted to go to Marche earlier but the queue was ...kurang sikit jer dari queue popiah kat section 14. Matilah pengsan kat queue.

Speaking of which, I really don't understand orang-orang yang sanggup beratur macam ular kena palu nak beli popiah basah yang harga seringgit kat section 14 tu...Dah lah tu, I heard one person yang queue akan order sampai 20 popiah sorang...kenduri popiah ke haper... Btw, I've tasted better popiah yang tak payah nak buang masa beratur...I've a feeling dia orang ni dok berahi beratur pasal tengok orang lain beratur panjang..The kiasuness of Malaysian...

Managed to get some raya shopping for the kids done over the last weekend..Koyak lah maybank account!! Tapi tak per lah rezeki anak-anak.Nasib baik raya setahun sekali..Btw, my 12 year old son pakai jeans size 32..and he's not fat ok..Matilah aku pakai jeans dia boleh jadi kain....

Hari ni sebenarnya mama lagi nervous dari Aisyah....walaupun bukan mama yang amek PMR dan result hari ni bukan results mama...I know that you have tried your best walaupun kadang-kadang mama cuak sebab bila masuk bilik Aisyah yang macam tempat kucing beranak tu...mama nampak either buku yang baca Aisyah or you will be reading with the radio on full blast or you will be smsing away instead of studying ( Aisyah kan RATU SMS...)The only thing I noticed a lot was you did more Maths work than I used to do when I was your age...which is a consolation for me coz I freaking hated Maths!! Mama pun risau sebab tak hantar Aisyah pergi tuition macam kawan-kawan Aisyah yang lain...the truth is... 1. I think you can excel without tuition: after all you did well for UPSR.. 2. I can spend that money on other stuff like taking you guys to McD, weekend outings, duit pergi gig, pergi RANTAI Aisyah, Mama dgn Ayah boleh pergi more date nights dan lain-lain lagi 3. You can spend more quality...

16 years ago today, I gave birth to my first child

Aisyah turned 16 today. At almost 12 midnight we brought out the birthday brownie and surprised her with sing song birthday song...and she cried!!! Kenapalah dia nangis ek??? Adakah kerana: 1. Dia sebenarnya tak suker brownies dan kalau boleh nak cheesecake? 2. She doesn't like turning 16 coz it makes her older and after this she can't cry anymore? 3. She's sad because mama and ayah is getting older, with her turning 16? 4. She was expecting to get her new LG phone, dan semalam dia cuma dapat suara Ayah menyanyi lagu Happy Birthday yang agak kureng melodinya? 5. Dia memang cepat menangis...sama dengan mama dia?? I think the closest answer is NO 5!! Like mama, like daughter lah...suka pun nangis, sedih lagi lah nangis kuat...ketawa pun boleh nangis...what to do? Runs in the blood lah... And Aisyah, you turning 16 does not make me feel older ...(mama in denial). In fact, this closer age gap, makes me feel even closer to you. And I always strive...
