Friday and we have to work weekends...rats!!!

It was so nice to be in bed this morning...what a drag to wake up and go to work!! I could stay in bed all day...Although Zaim's was taking half of my space, I still think it's better to stay in bed instead of being in the office...
But here I am..with proposals half done and imagining at the back of my head my boss's read ears, controlling his anger...shouting " I want it on my table NOW!!!!" There goes my early morning siesta...

Lucky I have all these wisdom words sent to my mailbox on a regular basis. Makes me feel better on days when I feel down and sometimes lazy like today....And today is all about gratitude... Amin!!!
p.s We will be in One Utama this weekend for our last Urban Live of the year... Hope to see you there!! I also have 2 VIP tickets to Fly Anniversary which Aisyah will love me to death for.. She wants to meet Hujan and Meet Uncle Hussein. Kewl mom , I am or not?? But the catch is she has to bring Imran along...which I think is not so cool for her..

Hari ni sebenarnya mama lagi nervous dari Aisyah....walaupun bukan mama yang amek PMR dan result hari ni bukan results mama...I know that you have tried your best walaupun kadang-kadang mama cuak sebab bila masuk bilik Aisyah yang macam tempat kucing beranak tu...mama nampak either buku yang baca Aisyah or you will be reading with the radio on full blast or you will be smsing away instead of studying ( Aisyah kan RATU SMS...)The only thing I noticed a lot was you did more Maths work than I used to do when I was your age...which is a consolation for me coz I freaking hated Maths!! Mama pun risau sebab tak hantar Aisyah pergi tuition macam kawan-kawan Aisyah yang lain...the truth is... 1. I think you can excel without tuition: after all you did well for UPSR.. 2. I can spend that money on other stuff like taking you guys to McD, weekend outings, duit pergi gig, pergi RANTAI Aisyah, Mama dgn Ayah boleh pergi more date nights dan lain-lain lagi 3. You can spend more quality...

16 years ago today, I gave birth to my first child

Aisyah turned 16 today. At almost 12 midnight we brought out the birthday brownie and surprised her with sing song birthday song...and she cried!!! Kenapalah dia nangis ek??? Adakah kerana: 1. Dia sebenarnya tak suker brownies dan kalau boleh nak cheesecake? 2. She doesn't like turning 16 coz it makes her older and after this she can't cry anymore? 3. She's sad because mama and ayah is getting older, with her turning 16? 4. She was expecting to get her new LG phone, dan semalam dia cuma dapat suara Ayah menyanyi lagu Happy Birthday yang agak kureng melodinya? 5. Dia memang cepat menangis...sama dengan mama dia?? I think the closest answer is NO 5!! Like mama, like daughter lah...suka pun nangis, sedih lagi lah nangis kuat...ketawa pun boleh nangis...what to do? Runs in the blood lah... And Aisyah, you turning 16 does not make me feel older ...(mama in denial). In fact, this closer age gap, makes me feel even closer to you. And I always strive...
