Of beautiful scones, chocolate cakes & good company



Lin, Angie, Bundle, Jaya and me went to Xan's house today to have the most wonderful, freshly baked scones I've ever tasted...There goes my my never ending diet...Matilah mek!!! To top it all, we also had pizzas from Dominoes, Susan (Xan's mum, the ever gracious host) "very delish I don't know how she mixed it coffee", home made orange and white chocolate cheesecake and to die for chocolate cake, all made with a lot of passion and lurveeeeeee...hehehe..we're the lucky ones...

When we got back to the office after lunch, Zafran said, Que Haidar dah sampai..". I forgot he was coming for a casting session. went to check out the boy at the cafeteria and ran into Abg Dee instead....Hehehe...biasalah Abang Dee...always the sweeetest guy with the curliest hair on his head and never failing to smell so nice...Btw, saw Que Haidar at the back...before I went up to my place. Tengok jer...macam budak cina...

After a while, Zafran brought him over. All of us later chatted with him in KZR's room....well he did most of the chatting. Very, very nice, down-to-earth guy..no airs about him and funny, jovial fella..ye ler...orang Johor...ewah!!

After his casting, we did the round of photo sessions..

Hmm...not a bad first day of work after my long exam leave...not bad at all...

Yeah....typical malay mentality that always looks down to malay talents without even watching their work first. I'm so glad, I'm more enlightened these days...Baru tau rupanya bukan senang nak jadi pelakon...Kita yang tak buat kerje nih tau nak kutuk jer...

Posting from Dreamland

We reached Bali yesterday afternoon at 3pm and was brought to Dreamland Villa that we have earlier booked at the Matta Fair. Mazlan was so nice to come down from his office to meet us briefly at LCCT. I miss his candid jokes and funny sarcasm.. We are now waiting for the shuttle to take us to Dreamland's private beach. After this morning's breakfast of "tak mahu babinya", we need to walk the food off on the beach. Dreamland has been a dream...We chose a private villa with a private pool that we managed to swim in as soon as we arrived yesterday. The beauty about private villas, is that you don't need to bother when you realised you have forgotten your swimming gear. Hey...be my guest and jump with your jeans on or in your birth suit!! We managed to check out Kuta Discovery Plaza yesterday night looking for a currency exchange. Lots of good stuff to see and will definitely revisit before we head home. Yesterday, I received an sms from one of my best friends, Umi, in JB. Umi : Aku nak tanya sikit boleh? Sebenarnya Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous tak? Me: Gorgeous ek...? Well, let me put it this way...kalau dia bukan artiste...kau tak tengok 2 kali lah..hehehe.. Umi : Ye ke? But my freind went to AJL and she said Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous giler!!
