Aidil's wedding

I attended a friend's wedding last, last weekend. I have received a number of requests from old friends to blog about it...So here goes...Aidil is a friend from secondary school. She has always been a bit of a rebel, loud, a very good dancer, funny and boisterous. I was delighted when out of the blue, a few months back I received a text from her asking for my mailing address and true to my guess, she was getting married. Proudly, the last in the gang...always trying to make a statement...that one. And all of us were very excited and I knew that I wouldn't miss her wedding for the world.

So there we were, one night a few weekends ago, old chums from school, almost hysterical to see each other again. The last time I met Aidil was more than 5 years ago, when she was doing the club scene, as a club singer...yes she was...So we were not surprised at all when after her heart warming, tears inducing speech, she took the mic and sang her heart out...lagu Kak Nita lagi.... That's Aidil for you...


Congratulations babe!! I'm glad you finally found THE ONE...just like you sang "Akhirnya kini pasti!!"

Posting from Dreamland

We reached Bali yesterday afternoon at 3pm and was brought to Dreamland Villa that we have earlier booked at the Matta Fair. Mazlan was so nice to come down from his office to meet us briefly at LCCT. I miss his candid jokes and funny sarcasm.. We are now waiting for the shuttle to take us to Dreamland's private beach. After this morning's breakfast of "tak mahu babinya", we need to walk the food off on the beach. Dreamland has been a dream...We chose a private villa with a private pool that we managed to swim in as soon as we arrived yesterday. The beauty about private villas, is that you don't need to bother when you realised you have forgotten your swimming gear. Hey...be my guest and jump with your jeans on or in your birth suit!! We managed to check out Kuta Discovery Plaza yesterday night looking for a currency exchange. Lots of good stuff to see and will definitely revisit before we head home. Yesterday, I received an sms from one of my best friends, Umi, in JB. Umi : Aku nak tanya sikit boleh? Sebenarnya Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous tak? Me: Gorgeous ek...? Well, let me put it this way...kalau dia bukan artiste...kau tak tengok 2 kali lah..hehehe.. Umi : Ye ke? But my freind went to AJL and she said Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous giler!!
