The last 2 weeks of not blogging

When I don't blog, my life goes on as usual, contrary to what my friends think. They asked "wei, lama tak rambles, tak der buat apa-apa ker?" One of the reasons why I have not posted anything for the last two weeks is that I've been busy, busy giler with the rest of the things that's going on in my life. In fact, my boss was away the whole of last week and I cud've ciloks and update but aiyor!!! nak celah buat kerja lain pun tak sempat!!

I was in JB last weekend and took the opportunity to cross the border to check out the Great Singapore Sale yang memang very d great..huhuhu...cik mur lar barang-barang compared here, especially designer labels. Tapi yang paling penting bila masuk Singapore mestilah nasi beriani, murtabak and mee goreng kat Arab Street. Nyum, nyum...

While I was in JB, my Mak got real sick and she told me she has not been sleeping well for the last few days. Sebenarnya cerita dia tak boleh tidur ni dah lama, i think years tapi it's only recently that it got worst. And she revealed to me that the doctors actually advised her to go for an operation on one of her valves? And I said " WHAT?!!! And this was a year ago???" Sigh...that's my Mak for you. Anyway, she was warded and after a few days after I reached home, was released without any concrete diagnose on what next..That's our hospital and our doctors for you.

when I came back to the office, we finally shot our planned music video for ntv7's 11th Anniversary. All our TV personalities were really good sport and I had fun watching the whole process of the shoot. Watch out for it this coming July and see if you'd feel like Walking on Sunshine too!! Hari ni sebenarnya mama lagi nervous dari Aisyah....walaupun bukan mama yang amek PMR dan result hari ni bukan results mama...I know that you have tried your best walaupun kadang-kadang mama cuak sebab bila masuk bilik Aisyah yang macam tempat kucing beranak tu...mama nampak either buku yang baca Aisyah or you will be reading with the radio on full blast or you will be smsing away instead of studying ( Aisyah kan RATU SMS...)The only thing I noticed a lot was you did more Maths work than I used to do when I was your age...which is a consolation for me coz I freaking hated Maths!! Mama pun risau sebab tak hantar Aisyah pergi tuition macam kawan-kawan Aisyah yang lain...the truth is... 1. I think you can excel without tuition: after all you did well for UPSR.. 2. I can spend that money on other stuff like taking you guys to McD, weekend outings, duit pergi gig, pergi RANTAI Aisyah, Mama dgn Ayah boleh pergi more date nights dan lain-lain lagi 3. You can spend more quality...

16 years ago today, I gave birth to my first child

Aisyah turned 16 today. At almost 12 midnight we brought out the birthday brownie and surprised her with sing song birthday song...and she cried!!! Kenapalah dia nangis ek??? Adakah kerana: 1. Dia sebenarnya tak suker brownies dan kalau boleh nak cheesecake? 2. She doesn't like turning 16 coz it makes her older and after this she can't cry anymore? 3. She's sad because mama and ayah is getting older, with her turning 16? 4. She was expecting to get her new LG phone, dan semalam dia cuma dapat suara Ayah menyanyi lagu Happy Birthday yang agak kureng melodinya? 5. Dia memang cepat menangis...sama dengan mama dia?? I think the closest answer is NO 5!! Like mama, like daughter lah...suka pun nangis, sedih lagi lah nangis kuat...ketawa pun boleh nangis...what to do? Runs in the blood lah... And Aisyah, you turning 16 does not make me feel older ...(mama in denial). In fact, this closer age gap, makes me feel even closer to you. And I always strive...
