80's I love...

I grew up in the 80s...Zaman Michael Jackson masih hitam dan baru berhidung kecik...zaman Thriller, Beat It...Zaman kegilaan bands from British, masa aku menggila Duran Duran, Wham, Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Big Country, The Commodores, Simply Red, Tears for Fears, Wham, Culture Club to American acts like Hall and Oates , Level 42, Mr Mister , A Flock of Seagulls, ABC and the odd few , A-ha, Men at Work, Crowded House, juga pompuan-pompuan macam Alison Moyet, Cyndi Lauper, Sade, Chaka Khan , Them billies...Billy Idol, Billy Ocean, Billy Joel and more B...Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams and also Paul Young, Prince, Madonna ....bukan Backstreet Boys yer..(sorry Zayda). So much in love we were with Duran Duran that we were called The Duranian Gals, with some of us adapting the band member's names. In fact, to this day I still have friends we call Paul (Young), Nick (Rhodes) and Cyn (Lauper).

Mowtif entry ini?? Sajer jer...sebab I think the 80s music revolutionised the music that we have this present day. After all, it was in the 80s that MTV was born. Disco sort of died in the 80s and music became more fun and free-spirited. The glorious 80s also brought the keyboards into a more prominent position as synthesizers became a dominant intrument in my favourite 80's tune. I also enjoy Rick Springfield, John Cougar, Def Leppard, Human League (oohh...their hair..), INXS, Dire Straits...and these days although I have to keep up with times with the likes of Linkin Park, Fall Out Boys, Boys like Girls, Lady Gaga, Pixie Lott, Black Eyed Peas and I heart Coldplay and Green Day!!!!...when I'm humming to myself it's always the 80's music. Suker!!
