I found my long lost friends on FACEBOOK
I'm on Facebook, like everyone else these days. But you will hardly find me throwing pies, giving wolf bites or finding out if you are a good kisser...hahaha...
I have found a lot of my high schoold friends, juniors and seniors on Facebook and one night last week while I was showing my sister the wonders of FB, on a whim, I just decided to look for George. And there he was, also on FB!! And I just added him that night.
And on 3 days ago when I checked my FB, I received a message in my inbox from George!! George and Bobi , his wife came to stay with us in 1995, during the last leg of their world tour before they went back to Melbourne. George and his mom was my late husband's foster family while Ezral was in Sydney for his military college. We had such a wonderful time having both of them in our humble flat then for more than a week. They shared our food, enjoyed kaya on roti canai and brought Aisyah who were just 26 months along when they visited Petaling Street.
We drove to Tanjung Malim for a wedding only to realise that I had forgotten the invitation card for the wedding, hence did not know the place. We ended up somewhere near Tanjung Malim enjoying chinese noodles, while George still had his neck tie on..Ye..lah Mat Salleh nak pergi wedding...
My late husband passed on about 1 week after they left Malaysia. Aisyah and I visited them in Melcourne in 1998, just before I married Hubby the same year. I tried to keep in touch but life's got other plans.
George and Bobi has 7 year old twins now...I am so glad I decided to look you up in Facebook, George. Bobi, I tried you first...Maybe it's time to start throwing pies around!! Do keep in touch...
