Weekend's almost done..Here comes Monday..

What a weekend it has been...I went to the Glenmarie office on Saturday with Imran. The chef that was supposed to do our cooking show decided to back-off close to production and I am sort of panicking that we could not find a host for the show as soon as possible.1...2... Jus! recording was going on in Studio 1 and Lin thought one of the celebrity artistes may just be the right chef for the cooking show. So we had a chat with him and he sounded promising and he can cook. Now, just to convince the bosses. Will be updating on that soon. Hubby's away for futsal the whole day...some tournament somewhere. At night when he came back went to Aisyah's school for the sembahyang hajat and prayers before the big exam.

Khairin got her 'paycheck' for the Tv show that she did a few weeks back, so we convinced her to treat us to lunch today...hehehe...


Hubby : Khairin, nak belanja ayah kat mana?


Khairin: Kalau Khairin belanja kat TGIFriday's, would I have balance to buy one book?


Hubby : Ada...


Khairin : What about 2 books?


Hubby : Cukup...


Khairin : 3 books?


Hubby : 4 or 5 books pun boleh...


Khairin (happy) : Ok lah!!Tapi hari ni bukan hari Jumaat (Friday)...kita pergi Chilli's lah...

And that's how we ended up in Chilli's for lunch, courtesy of my TV star..hehehe...she's really enjoying having money. After lunch, we went to the Toycity where Zaim managed to squeeze hubby for a robot toy. Next we were in MPH. Khairin bought herself 5 books and a Wall.e book for Zaim; and to Kak Aisyah's amazement, agreed to pay for Aisyah's Johnny Depp's biography. Aku rasa macam nak nangis pun ada...tengok Aisyah peluk cium adik dia...


We stopped by at Amir's place and had tea while waiting for the show. And when Khairin appeared on TV, 2 year old Umar said...''eh, eh...macam muka Ayin (Khairin)lah..." Hahaha....Will write about the recording soon.

Posting from Dreamland

We reached Bali yesterday afternoon at 3pm and was brought to Dreamland Villa that we have earlier booked at the Matta Fair. Mazlan was so nice to come down from his office to meet us briefly at LCCT. I miss his candid jokes and funny sarcasm.. We are now waiting for the shuttle to take us to Dreamland's private beach. After this morning's breakfast of "tak mahu babinya", we need to walk the food off on the beach. Dreamland has been a dream...We chose a private villa with a private pool that we managed to swim in as soon as we arrived yesterday. The beauty about private villas, is that you don't need to bother when you realised you have forgotten your swimming gear. Hey...be my guest and jump with your jeans on or in your birth suit!! We managed to check out Kuta Discovery Plaza yesterday night looking for a currency exchange. Lots of good stuff to see and will definitely revisit before we head home. Yesterday, I received an sms from one of my best friends, Umi, in JB. Umi : Aku nak tanya sikit boleh? Sebenarnya Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous tak? Me: Gorgeous ek...? Well, let me put it this way...kalau dia bukan artiste...kau tak tengok 2 kali lah..hehehe.. Umi : Ye ke? But my freind went to AJL and she said Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous giler!!
