Friday morning jam

This morning many of us was caught in a jam on the way to work. I didn't know that most main roads are closed to make way for Le Tour De Langkawi. I smsd to a few people and they are all caught in some jam here and there. I took advantage of the situation by enjoying my current read "Mao's Last Dancer" an autobiography by Li Cunxin. A highly addictive read. I've recently taken up reading again and it has been my solace to beat boredom and certain lonely times.


At the same time I was also listening to HotFm. It's so true that a woman can do multiple tasks at the same time...just how our brains are made. They had Kartini and fiance on air...I guess in conjunction with Valentine's. Panjang umur Tini; I just received her wedding invitation yesterday. Anyway, I missed most parts of the interviews, but I did hear her fiance sang this song - live on air for her.

Dengan rasa sedikit malu....saya dengan ini mengaku telah menangis lepas tunang dia habis menyanyikan lagu tersebut.....huhuhu...apasal? I don't know why...must be the jam...macam bodo jer...

Hari ni sebenarnya mama lagi nervous dari Aisyah....walaupun bukan mama yang amek PMR dan result hari ni bukan results mama...I know that you have tried your best walaupun kadang-kadang mama cuak sebab bila masuk bilik Aisyah yang macam tempat kucing beranak tu...mama nampak either buku yang baca Aisyah or you will be reading with the radio on full blast or you will be smsing away instead of studying ( Aisyah kan RATU SMS...)The only thing I noticed a lot was you did more Maths work than I used to do when I was your age...which is a consolation for me coz I freaking hated Maths!! Mama pun risau sebab tak hantar Aisyah pergi tuition macam kawan-kawan Aisyah yang lain...the truth is... 1. I think you can excel without tuition: after all you did well for UPSR.. 2. I can spend that money on other stuff like taking you guys to McD, weekend outings, duit pergi gig, pergi RANTAI Aisyah, Mama dgn Ayah boleh pergi more date nights dan lain-lain lagi 3. You can spend more quality...

16 years ago today, I gave birth to my first child

Aisyah turned 16 today. At almost 12 midnight we brought out the birthday brownie and surprised her with sing song birthday song...and she cried!!! Kenapalah dia nangis ek??? Adakah kerana: 1. Dia sebenarnya tak suker brownies dan kalau boleh nak cheesecake? 2. She doesn't like turning 16 coz it makes her older and after this she can't cry anymore? 3. She's sad because mama and ayah is getting older, with her turning 16? 4. She was expecting to get her new LG phone, dan semalam dia cuma dapat suara Ayah menyanyi lagu Happy Birthday yang agak kureng melodinya? 5. Dia memang cepat menangis...sama dengan mama dia?? I think the closest answer is NO 5!! Like mama, like daughter lah...suka pun nangis, sedih lagi lah nangis kuat...ketawa pun boleh nangis...what to do? Runs in the blood lah... And Aisyah, you turning 16 does not make me feel older ...(mama in denial). In fact, this closer age gap, makes me feel even closer to you. And I always strive...
