Weekend yang panjang...

It was the weekend that hubby was still recovering from Chikungunya...and Zaim was down with high fever and we went to the clinic twice as his temperature was still high even after a course of paracetamol and antibiotics, plus he started complaining that his calfs hurt. Fortunately the doctor said it's quite normal for kids with high fever.
It was the weekend that Khairin took part in a kid's quiz show called SIAPA PINTAR with her friends. Thay had a lot of fun recording the show walaupun she didn't win. It made me realise that she needs to read more buku bm ke surat khabar bm ke...sebab dia spell MIKROSKOP with an E at the end dan spelling yang lain-lain pun agak koyak yer...Watch out for the start of the show on TV9 starting March, Monday to Wednesday at 7pm.
It was the weekend that we went to Anis' place for Syeikh Suhail Mahdi's aqiqah lunch and found out that our friend Tengku Nurul is 4 months pregnant.. Sorry babe, I'm making your announcement here!! Congrats!!
It was the weekend that I finally made my long overdue bread and butter pudding yang sungguh yummy, to be given to my back door neighbour who were having lunch for her son who is going away to boarding school.

It was also the weekend that I realised again that sometimes you don't actually get good service even if you pay more. We ate late dinner at TEH TARIK CAFE in THE CURVE on Sunday night. The teh tarik is RM2.20 each. A glass of ice milo costs RM3.20 and a glass of Neslo is RM3.00 which we don't mind paying but when hubby's order of Rojak Mamak didn't show up till everyone else's food is almost finished, and when we asked they said Rojak Mamak dah habis...kwang, kwang, kwang...rasa macam ek eleh...baik aku pergi makan kat Jalan 223..they're cheaper but service is excellent. Nasi lemak pun WORLD! I ended up buying him a DCB from Mc D, walaupun Imran commented dia lebih rela makan batu dari makan McD...hehehe. If you go there, be prepared to either get your food delayed or not get them at all...

Posting from Dreamland

We reached Bali yesterday afternoon at 3pm and was brought to Dreamland Villa that we have earlier booked at the Matta Fair. Mazlan was so nice to come down from his office to meet us briefly at LCCT. I miss his candid jokes and funny sarcasm.. We are now waiting for the shuttle to take us to Dreamland's private beach. After this morning's breakfast of "tak mahu babinya", we need to walk the food off on the beach. Dreamland has been a dream...We chose a private villa with a private pool that we managed to swim in as soon as we arrived yesterday. The beauty about private villas, is that you don't need to bother when you realised you have forgotten your swimming gear. Hey...be my guest and jump with your jeans on or in your birth suit!! We managed to check out Kuta Discovery Plaza yesterday night looking for a currency exchange. Lots of good stuff to see and will definitely revisit before we head home. Yesterday, I received an sms from one of my best friends, Umi, in JB. Umi : Aku nak tanya sikit boleh? Sebenarnya Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous tak? Me: Gorgeous ek...? Well, let me put it this way...kalau dia bukan artiste...kau tak tengok 2 kali lah..hehehe.. Umi : Ye ke? But my freind went to AJL and she said Faizal Tahir tu gorgeous giler!!
