Boxing Day Rambles
4 November 2014- 2 tahun tak menjenguk dan menulis di sini.
So much has happened since I last wrote.
Some signifcant happenings which did not make the blog ( in case I turned senile and needed to be reminded)
13 March 2014 - Aisyah married Jeremy, after a short 'courtship', if you call it that.
September 2014 - Ran River Jungle Marathon. I am officially an ultra marathoner hahah the route was more than 42km!
1 October 2014 - Aisyah moved to San Jose, California.
October 2014 - I started a small home baking set-up under Bakerific Kicthen Ent. (which reminds me I have to renew my license eeek). Check out @bakerifickitchen on IG. Such messy, sedap bakes!!
April 2015- Travelled Paris, Brussels and London and ran the Paris Marathon yeehaaa!!
May 2015 - end July 2015 - Travelled to the USA to visit Aisyah and Jeremy annndddd welcome my grandson,
8 June 2015 - Abuboo arrived, that's my first grandson, btw.
November 2015 - Reunited with the Kaponays, our travelling friends from years and years ago when they stopped over in Malaysia before their journey home to Melbourne. Always inspiring...this family of travellers, who left their Melbourne and travelled around the globe with their twins for the last 5 years. Their 15 year old daughter recently authored a book, Dawn of A Guardian, available on Amazon. And Reka also blogs at www.dreamtimetraveler.com
I am working ( as in going into an office where I have a desk and meet clients, twice a week) since February 2016. Loving the positive vibes that I get from this space and its people.
2 March 2016 - The passing of my Mak. I miss her everyday. Al Fatihah..
April 2016 - Liyana, Sid and I started cooking and serving food for the parties at Blokke in Citta Mall. Owned by celebrity couple , Sheahnee and Naz, the cafe is a play area, a creative space with great coffee and food ! Check out @blokke on IG!
Still doing this till now and enjoying spreading the love of food, Sid has recently gone back to full time employment , almost 3 years after a carefree life of cooking and being his own boss. He sure is enjoying his new stint!
Feeling blessed and thankful for a simpler life, full of abundance.
Living a minimalist life is the ultimate goal, without excesses and unneccesary luxury... that's the learnings of the past years since leaving a full time job.
Will be writing more soon,... thanks for dropping by :)
