I'm on Facebook, like everyone else these days. But you will hardly find me throwing pies, giving wolf bites or finding out if you are a good kisser...hahaha... I have found a lot of my high schoold friends, juniors and seniors on Facebook and one night last week while I was showing my sister the wonders of FB, on a whim, I just decided to look for George. And there he was, also on FB!! And I just added him that night. And on 3 days ago when I checked my FB, I received a message in my inbox from George!! George and Bobi , his wife came to stay with us in 1995, during the last leg of their world tour before they went back to Melbourne. George and his mom was my late husband's foster family while Ezral was in Sydney for his military college. What a weekend it has been...I went to the Glenmarie office on Saturday with Imran. The chef that was supposed to do our cooking show decided to back-off close to production and I am sort of panicking that we could not find a host for the show as soon as possible.1...2... Jus! recording was going on in Studio 1 and Lin thought one of the celebrity artistes may just be the right chef for the cooking show. So we had a chat with him and he sounded promising and he can cook. Now, just to convince the bosses. Will be updating on that soon. Hubby's away for futsal the whole day...some tournament somewhere. At night when he came back went to Aisyah's school for the sembahyang hajat and prayers before the big exam. Was in the gym at 7am for my workout yesterday morning. After last week's lower body work out which reconfirms my left knee problem, we are only sticking to upper body stuff now. Am on leave for my 2nd rehab session. And since I was on leave decided to invite my brother, Abg Wad and family for dinner before they go back to Abu Dhabi when the summer break is over. So from the gym, drop Kak Pah in the office and I was in Tesco by 8.45am...semangat tak??? Tesco tak bukak lagi okeh...So akak pun sempat tidoq dalam kereta tau... 2pm, went for my physio with Ju Inn in Pantai...I'm really beginning to enjoy Pilates. Then 3.15pm met Dr Pasu who showed me my knee MRI scan yang katanya nampak ok...tapi ada a small tear at the ligaments yang will heal in time..hey! you are the doctor man... I'll see you in 3 months or if I can't bear the pain, before that... Strong Liz Managed to squeeze a visit to my sis in law at block C...

My friend Angeline made her debut reading the Biz News on TV3 at 5.30pm today. I must say she did pretty good. We are all so proud of you, Cheen Chia!!!

Was on leave again yesterday. We went 'shopping' for a refinacing package for our house. Ended up going to 7 banks i.e Citibank, HSBC, Public Bank, Al Rajhi, EON Bank, CIMB and Maybank. Phew!!! Mari kita lihat siapa yang kena!!! Each one of them has their own advantage and disadvantage, so we are going to weigh the pros and cons of each and decide soon.. I've always wanted to try Pilates cuma the circumstances that forces me to try Pilates ni memang tak syok lah. Ju In the pilates therapist...(nasib baik bukan Ju On) was very patient and taught me some simple home exercise that I could try to improve my core muscles which in turn will improve the pain on my knee, insyallah...and I found out that Kegel is also a part of Pilates..Tak sangka yerrr....exercise mengemut pun termasuk dalam Pilates rupanya...hehehe...(gelak bodo). 2 hours to kill before my appointment with Dr. Pasu passed quickly reading newspapers and mags at Starbucks with a cafe mocha. I normally look forward to Mondays...Walaupun orang selalu kata Monday Blues lah, Black Monday lah..but I always find that I look forward to a fresh start to the week. Not so true this moring though. When the alarm went off at 6am , I could have kicked myself for turning in late at 2am last night...Sms'ed to my gym buddy, Kak Pah, if she wants to go to the gym, half wishing that she's down with stomach ache or something ...but just not my luck.. . so got up and when reached the gym at around 7.30am...when through the normal cardio stuff.. After about 15 minutes on the treadmill and discussing with Kak Pah on the possibility of taking MC today, hehehe...I felt better, a bit energised and made it to work after all, but not without vowing that I will leave the office at 6pm sharp today! Friday was the day of our BIG 10 Anniversary Party where: I took the wrong turn to go to KL and ended up at Bukit Jelutong and ended up in KL Convex quite late... Almost everyone came in black and gold It was free flowing champagne and liquor all the way so SOME people really had fun although those who didn't drink also had fun, and they can actually remember the fun they had...hahaha We had a record of almost 1000 plus attendees And again we had FUNNNNNN!!!!!! At night we went for my neighbour's daughter's wedding in Puspanita Hall....I didn't even know this hall existed... Went for my long overdue ortho appointment in Pantai Medical yesterday. Saw Dr Pasupathy who did a good job on my tailbone pain way back in 2004. I have had this constant pain on my back, my left knee and also the region around my right toes since a few months back. Dr Pasu quickly gave me his diagnosis. 1. The back - Caused by my posture or my attempt to correct my posture 2. The knee - Caused by the slight 'alignment lari' of my left ligament that holding the knee 3. The toes - Caused by beautiful, cheap shoes I was prescribed with Glucosamine and also Chondroitin, which I have been buying for my Mak, who has chronic osteoathritis on hr knees. Pengsanlah dah tiba masa untuk makan ubat untuk senior citizen nih!!! I also went to rehab! Rehab katanya. Terus terasa macam Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan & Amy Winehouse nih. Masuk rehab...No, no, no...Well, it's actually physiotherapy with Su who taught me how to exer...

Didn't make Xan's birthday after all , yesterday. I received a call from Mak informing that my cousin, Long Uzir's wife has passed on Monday morning. Kak Long Eda finally succumbed to her liver disfunction coupled with breast cancer and other complications. Al Fatihah.... We were in Country Heights till late last night. Also met my younger sister and other cousins.. Abg Wad, Kak Nen and the kids are also back in Malaysia for the summer break. My nephews and niece are so grown up already. The last time we saw them was 2 years ago. Aliff has long hair and it's so funny when he told everyone that " I'm a Rocker" and he really meant it. Was at the gym early this morning which explains the 'nearly falling asleep at my desk' syndrome...Ohhhh.....it's going to be a looooooooooooooooong, sleeeeeppppppyyyy day!!!!

Ngantuk nyer...This morning when the alarm went off, dengan cargasnyer akak bangun sembahyang Suboh and got ready for gym and when I looked at the time it was only 5.19am!!! Mak!!! Salah set alarm!! Apa lagi? Terus kiewww tarik selimut hubby kieww itieww dan tidur balik and I end up arriving at the gym about 20 mins late. My PT called while I was parking the car. Ye, ye.....I was walking to you la...weh...tak boleh lambat sikit. My sis and hubby came to stay over on Saturday, with the intention of helping us paint some of the walls in our home. My sis really love all this DIY stuff. She used to drag my abah to the hardware store to buy lots and lots of paint so that she can do stuff to my parents house. We did go to the hardware on Saturday, but got so cuak about the colors so we waited for hubby to come back on Sunday, not that he was much help in that department lah... tapi dia tolong bayar tau??...My sis was done painting in an hour and this is how our staircase wall looks li...

Pepagi buta...well ehhmmmm....just before 10am today, I was stirred from my weekend sleep-in with a text message from Zaida " Skunk Fu ada babi lah"....she's talking about this new cartoon that we are showing on air...Aku jawab " Tak pe...kita suka babi".I just remembered that she told me that they received complaints from viewers that one of their cartoon shows pun ada character babi. Terus the show was taken off-air! Matilah...I grew up watching Porky Pig, Miss Piggy on TV tapi tak der pulak rasa teringin nak makan babi...hehehe...if anything it taught me to be more tolerant of my friends who does eat babi walaupun mereka tak bela babi....huwargh!!!And I am aware that BABI TU HARAMZ!!!! Today was my first personal training session Mei Yee at the gym. She was cautious, i guess, it being my first session with her since my last trainer left and also the fact that I told her that I'm supposed to see a orthopaedic next week for my back and knee pain. Phew!! I went to the office dengan semangat " Hari ni hari Jumaat, nak kerja light-light jer" but no it isn't!!! Meetings, trouble shooting is the order of the day. Left the office at almost 8pm. Hubby is in Singapore for a business trip. He smsed asking me what I want from there. Let's see if he manage to get what I asked for. Balik cepat jer lah, boleh tak? Dozed off after 1am, post a marathon of Cashmere Mafia. Thank God It's Friday!!

Suka betul budak dua orang ni semalam..ye lah it's not everyday that you get married kan?It was a beautiful wedding with two wacky emcees, Rina and Douglas who made the otherwise normal serious wedding into a casual, relax affair. That plus a band called 'SICK BAY' which consists of Naz's cousins dengan seorang pakcik yang cool memakai baju melayu maroon/burgundy yang dengan coolnya menggoreng keyboard masa bebudak tu nyanyi lagu Deep Purple "Smoke On The Water" and also Naz's former singing group, Soulstreet yang menyanyi lagu jiwang-jiwang siap harmonize lagi. Lepas tu, Hafidz came to me and asked me for a lift to the office and that his sister just passed away Innalillah...Kesian Hafidz. His sister was only 26, with one child who is a bit more tha a year old. This morning, we went for the funeral. I feel for the family, and I know how it felt to lose the people that we love cause I can still feel it...Alfatihah...Be strong Hafidz. Take your time to...

This morning at about 11am, all of us in the office, made a helluva din in the whole building bringing with us cupcakes, black , gold balloons, purple and gold popcorns in celebration of our 10th anniversary. We had so much fun...and am glad I decided not to go to the gym this morning coz walking around the office was enough workout for the day...This year is my 8th year in this family and hoping for more feel good years to come.....!!!
